This is a long overdue (3 month) review, but I absolutely recommend Petals of Poetry for wedding flowers or any floral need. I had emailed many florists for pricing on flowers for my October wedding, and most of the quotes were outrageously expensive. While in Temecula for a visit to my parents, I stopped into Petals of Poetry, which was next to the coffee shop I was at. I told the girl at the shop what I was looking for and left my email. Shelly contacted me immediately and helped me figure out what I wanted and how much of everything I needed. I was given a great price and the descriptions sounded amazing. Day of the wedding comes and everything is better than I can imagine. Shelly sets everything up and it's beautiful. I requested a flower crown last minute and it looked perfect with my dress. The flowers lasted for a long time after the wedding and my only wish is that I could bring them home to Chicago with me. I 100% recommend Petals of Poetry, not just for budget, but for the amazing floral creations they produce. The flowers I ordered helped beautify my wedding and I still receive many compliments on the gorgeous floral.

My wedding was two years ago,Shelly was the best at what she does. She went out of her way to make it affordable, beautiful, and with great ideas. I still get flowers from her for special occasions.

If I were to do another wedding, I would hire Petals of Poetry. Shelly is creative and flexible. In the midst of the stress of large event planning, it's advantageous to hire someone who can be depended upon to not only deliver but exercise creativity if necessary on the day of event. Sometimes there are things like unexpected weather for an outdoor site, etc.

My fiancé and I booked with Petals of Poetry back in march after emails and a face to face meeting with Shelly. We reached out to Shelly in June, 4 months prior to the wedding to make sure everything was in order. The flower that was referenced in a picture and attached to our contract to be used as the center piece for the bridal bouquet was at this time said to be a fake flower. No time prior to June was it ever said to be a fake flower. Devastated that this flower would not be in the wedding we went elsewhere for our flowers Shelly refused to give us our deposit back. I would strongly recommend not getting your flowers done by Petals of Poetry. Our experience with Shelly and Petals of Poetry was horrible
