Welcome and thank you for visting my web site! I've been both teaching and performing on piano and hammered dulcimer in Southern Calfornia for more than 20 years. I love teaching. I believe that through the study of music students learn more than how to play an instrument. They learn life skills such as sticking to a goal and achieving it all on their own. They learn to believe in themselves. Above all, I hope they learn to enjoy music and express themselves through their playing. I also enjoy performing. Most of my public playing is with my traditional Irish band, Looney's Fortune, in which I sing, and play hammered dulcimer, mandola, and button accordion. I also play dulcimer solo for weddings and private parties. It's much easier to carry than a piano!
