Working with Parties & Petals was an absolute pleasure. Sharmila did an amazing job designing our mandap and centerpieces while keeping our style and budget in mind. I wanted a whimsical design with an Alice in Wonderland influence but still wanted to keep it modern and subtle. The result was a gorgeous garden design for the ceremony and bright fun floral designs for the reception. I had a very small budget to work with, but Sharmila was able to ensure that the design wasn't compromised. She even offered to do certain elements using paper flowers to help cut costs. The only recommendation I have for anyone that hires Parties & Petals is to make sure that you're clear and completely happy with the designs that are agreed upon. Sharmila will work with you and she is willing to go through multiple iterations until you're happy.

Oh I absolutely adore Sharmila and her team! Not only are they amazing but even after sending pictures, having a meeting to discuss ideas, and being pretty specific about what my budget and ideas were... they day of the wedding I was blown away by how everything came out. Everything was gorgeous! From the centerpieces to my bouquet- it completely exceeded my expectations. Sharmilla is a gem- she completely understood the style of my wedding and had the perfect suggestions all while staying in the budget which was beyond helpful. I highly recommend Parties & Petals!

Parties & Petals was the florist for my wedding in April 2011. They provided corsages, boutonnieres, bouquets, pew arrangements, cake decorations, and centerpieces, and everything was absolutely beautiful! Sharmila worked closesly with me in order to meet my budget constraints, and we were able to get all of the pieces we needed for a very fair price. Sharmila also worked closely with me to determine what flower types and colors to use, and which to avoid based on my personal preferences. She met me at the church and reception venues ahead of time, so that she was familiar with the settings before the wedding. I would highly recommend Parties & Petals as your wedding florist!!!

I'm so happy with Sharmila of Parties and Petals! She was early for our first meeting and brought samples of ideas to show me. She worked with my budget so I could get everything I imagined. My flowers were gorgeous and the petal decorations, manzanita branches and vases were perfect for the aquarium setting. She picked fantastic flowers for our wedding cake too! I loved how detail oriented she was, like putting big diamonds in the vases at our head table. I'm so excited to see the wedding flowers in my pictures!

My husband and I can't emphasize enough how wonderful it was to work with Sharmila. From the beginning, she was kind, flexible and willing to listen. She put my somewhat vague idea of what I wanted into focus, and it turned out beautifully. Sharmila gently steered me in the right direction when it came to colors (and even helped me choose a complimentary bridesmaid dress color), flower-type, and worked with my budget, as well. Her taste is impeccable. On my wedding day, when I saw the beautiful, lush flowers (especially the giant, stunning arrangements in the ceremony room), I was beyond thrilled. She and her team worked quickly and efficiently - I didn't see any of the "behind the scene" work at all, just the beauty of her creations. Thank you, Sharmila!

She did a great job on our flowers and even though we changed styles to be a little more elaborate, she was right there, with gorgeous arrangements. She also got the colors just right. Everything was beautiful!!
