Park Alumni Center is a grand ballroom located in Raleigh, North Carolina. Dorothy and Roy Park Alumni Center is located on the southern shore of Lake Raleigh. This classic ballroom is 59,000 square feet with 28-foot ceilings. A large ballroom with incredible features like Italian marble-flooring, double curving staircases, and crystal chandeliers makes the most elegant wedding scene. When it doesn’t get any better, Park Alumni Center is a serene lakeside setting, adding a different element to your night.

Facilities And Capacity

Park Alumni Center can accommodate a maximum capacity of 150 guests. The grand ballroom is home to high ceilings, crystal chandeliers, walnut trimmed fireplaces, and floor length windows that gaze over the lake. The space truly brings together the serenity of the lake with the elegant features of the building. The venue offers outdoor options which includes a weather backup location, white garden chairs, gazebo, and rehearsal practice site. The backup location is on the second floor of the Chancellor’s Reception Room and seats 100 guests. Bride and groom suites are available three hours before the reception.

Services Offered

Park Alumni Center hosts ceremonies, receptions, engagement parties, rehearsal dinners, bridal showers, bridal luncheons, “day after” wedding brunches, and golf outings for the groomsmen. Ceremonies can only be booked in conjunction with a reception. Each wedding package is based around a four hour wedding reception, cocktail hour, and three hours of dinner and dancing. Each package includes flatware, glassware, China, table linens, napkins, overlays, underlays, three votive candles per table, cake cutting service, screen and projector, private menu tasting and meeting with a coordinator, and a champagne toast.

Cuisine

Wedding packages are the Centennial Buffet, The Point Plated, and the Holiday Hall Reception. Catering services can include cocktail hour, tastings, stations, buffets, or hors d’ oeuvres. There are four bar packages available, each liquor package includes standard mixers and sodas. Choose from a Beer & Wine Package, a Classic Liquor Package, a Premium Liquor Package, or the Ultra Premium Liquor Package.
