About Us...

Papillon Floral is a floral design studio and retail shop in the heart of Santa Rosa's SOFA historic arts district. We provide a range of services spanning full-service weddings, an a la carte menu, events of all kinds, and other projects such as our specialty dried flower installations. Our motto is "art over assembly line," and our wonderfully talented team, led by owner and founder Olivia Rivas, crafts cohesive and detailed works of art in the signature Papillon style.

What We Stand For...

Hand in hand with artistry in floral design is the quality of ingredients. Papillon is a member of the Slow Flowers Society, and we believe that the best quality flowers are local and seasonal. Whenever possible, we source our ingredients from local farmers right here in Sonoma County. If we must outsource from other vendors, we vet each flower for freshness and choose in-season varieties. We are a foam-free florist and use alternative methods for mechanics that are kinder on the earth. Papillon Floral is Latina-owned and queer/POC-managed. We are eager to work with all couples and want BIPOC and the LGBTQIA+ community to know you're welcome and wanted here.

Our clients choose to work with us because they love our models of sustainability, our commitment to sourcing local/seasonal materials, our use of color and unique palettes, and our signature style of floral design. We aim to create a look that is wild, garden-like, romantic, free, and artistic. This may not be for everyone, and that's okay! We just ask that you take a look at our Instagram first to make sure our style meshes with your dream wedding flowers.

Our Full-Service Weddings...

We started out as a full-service wedding florist, and we love being able to work with couples in detail as we create a truly customized, cohesive work of art for you. This service includes a lot of communication, customization, alterations, options, and delivery/setup/installation on the day of your wedding.

Our A La Carte Service...

For elopements, courthouse weddings, backyard weddings, or more intimate gatherings, our A La Carte service might be just right! This option is wonderful for those who don't need customization, consultations, or day-of setup/installation. You pick items off the menu, choose between 4 color/feel options, and let us do what we do best! You may choose to either pickup at our shop, or have us deliver to your wedding site (delivery fee depends on distance from our storefront and number of pieces).
