Bailey and Audrey are absolutely the best! They were so fun to have around on my wedding day, and did beautiful work. Not only was my hair and makeup exactly what I wanted, so was my entire bridal party's! They had to work on a variety of skin tones, hair textures and lengths, and everyone was so pleased with their results. They even did makeup on my mother, who absolutely hates getting professional makeup done, and she was so happy! Will definitely continue using them in the future.

Bailey did my hair and makeup for my wedding and she did a FANTASTIC job. I had a nightmare hair trial prior to finding Paper Scissors and was really feeling nervous all the way until my wedding day about what I would look like. Bailey listened and made every accommodation to try what I wanted, change what I didn't like, and made me feel absolutely perfect on my wedding day. Audry did my bridesmaid's hairstyles and each girl looked beautiful, natural, and professionally done. We were all very very happy with their work!

Audrey and Bailey were great. They are efficient and self sufficient. There were no chairs to do hair when they got to the site, so they called the front desk and had two chair delivered to the room before I even knew there was an issue. One person in our wedding party was very unhappy with their hair and the stylist re-did their hair numerous times until it was exactly as they wanted it. Ultimately, the person wanted a look that required their hair to be longer than it was. The stylist suggested a few different looks until they found the one that was perfect. They were patient and calm, even when the styles were rejected. Audrey and Bailey were able to do hair in 45 minute blocks and I had scheduled an hour for each, which worked really well for timing for us. My hair was great and held up well for the remainder of the night. They helped instruct on how to put in a veil and hair jewelry. Audrey and Bailey arrived promptly and got right to work. I thought the services were a great value. Hair was the only service we got from Paper Scissors Beauty. With the craziness of wedding planning and all the things on the day of the wedding, hair, Audrey and Bailey was one thing I did not need to worry about.

I booked Audrey three days before my wedding (we had to move our wedding from the Outer Banks to Charlotte at the last minute due to Hurricane Matthew) and she was such a life saver and a dream to work with. She came highly recommended from a friend and was so flexible and willing to help us out. She travelled to our house where I was getting ready and did my hair and makeup (and also helped my sister out with some of her curls) and her work was beautiful and efficient. She made me feel comfortable and more importantly, gorgeous! I don't wear makeup a lot and don't do anything fancy with my hair and Audrey listened to what I wanted and made me feel beautiful, natural, comfortable but also just like myself (not overdone, I liked that I could recognize myself in the mirror with makeup on!). I got so many compliments on my hair and makeup and she did a better job than I could have imagined!

Audrey and Bailey were amazing!!! Leading up to the wedding I had been communicating via email with Audrey and she was super responsive, never more than 24 hrs for a response and she was really accommodating! They arrived promptly to the wedding location and worked so quickly, which was ideal with 8 bridesmaids and my bridal makeup that they had to finish in 2.5 hours. What I thought was truly amazing is that with a fairly low amount of information and having just met all of my bridesmaids they were able to create gorgeous updos that totally fit the personality of each girl. It was like they saw the girl and just KNEW what would be perfect! I was so impressed at how gorgeous my friends looked! I hadn't had a chance to do a bridal makeup consult with Audrey because I live in a different state, and I didn't even come prepped with ideas or photos (whoops), but she killed it! The look was totally natural and me, but a fancier version of me. I mentioned that I love violet lipsticks, but I knew it wasn't perfect for a wedding look and she somehow managed to give me a toned down violet that worked perfectly! Also, their prices were so affordable and my bridesmaids loved that! I am just SOOOO happy with Paper Scissors Beauty and would highly recommend them to anyone in the Charlotte/Hickory NC area.

Audrey at PaperScissors Beauty was so much fun to work with! I had a hair and makeup trial with her a couple of months before my wedding and she did exactly what I thought I wanted. After second guessing myself, she talked through some alternate options and improvements with me and completely nailed it the day of my wedding! My hair, which has a tendency to go flat and fall out, lasted the whole night, as did my makeup.

I normally don't wear a lot of makeup or spend much time on my hair and she struck the perfect balance, making it look more formal than my day to day hair & makeup, but still making me feel like myself and not overly done up. It was perfect!
