I was excited. I just got remarried to a man who had also lost his spouse to death. He came in designed the ring and gave it to me at the altar. I was so happy. It is such a modern setting and just sparkles. The jeweler had done dome work previously for his son for his wife and they were equally pleased.

Pampillonia is a fairly large place, but still has a family feel. I believe part of the family even goes to our church. They do all their work on-site and will even give you a tour of the workshop if you ask nicely. They took my husband through the entire process when he went in the first time to start designing my engagement ring and wedding band. He was very interested in the CAD design so they even sent it to him to review at home. He was very involved through the entire process and really enjoyed it.
He compared prices for the center diamond with ones he could find online and found that Pampillonia was fairly competitive.
The rings were ready when promised, and were exactly as he expected. I've been in there a few times now to get my rings cleaned. We did not end up getting his ring there because they didn't have quite what he was looking for. They suggested a few other places to look and were very encouraging of him finding the right ring, not just the best ring they could sell him. They're still more than happy to clean his ring whenever I take mine in even though we did not buy his there.
His brother also had an excellent experience designing a ring for his fiancee with Pampillonia.

I can not say enough good things about Pampillonia. This gem is tucked in the little mall area in Friendship Heights. My fiance purchased my ring from a local gemologist and we had some difficulty with the sizing and he recommended us to Pampillonia. They were so nice and accommodating and helped with the size, spinning, and other minor details to the ring. We bought a custom engagement band to match through Pampillonia. They were nice and very helpful. The biggest downside is the turnaround time and maybe that is standard for all jewelers. It takes time and patience to create quality work.
