Palmetto Dunes Oceanfront Resort is an award-winning beachside wedding venue in Hilton Head Island, South Carolina. With world-class cuisine and incredible accommodations, Palmetto Dunes customizes its services to meet its client's needs and make their special day unforgettable.
Facilities and Capacity
Palmetto Dunes Oceanfront Resort offers a variety of unique event spaces for a ceremony and reception. The Dunes House offers a 1,000-square-foot outdoor deck with sweeping views of the surrounding ocean and a capacity of up to 120. For a more casual, family-style environment, the covered, open-air Centre Court Pavilion offers 1,628 square feet of space and can accommodate up to 150 guests. The resort also features the championship Arthur Hills Golf Course, providing a one-of-a-kind wedding venue for approximately 160 guests in the newly renovated Veranda interior room. One of the newest venues is the Hilton Head Island Rear Range Lighthouse, which overlooks the golf course. A ceremony and cocktail hour for 120 guests can be arranged at this location, with a reception at the Arthur Hills Clubhouse. For a one-of-a-kind celebation at Toptracer Range, guests can enjoy cutting-edge golf technology perfect for welcome parties, bachelor/bachelorette events to send-offs. The facility is ideal for private buyouts - comfortably hosting 64 guests indoors and up to 120 guests with outdoor overflow space.
Services Offered
Palmetto Dunes Oceanfront Resort provides expert wedding planners to advise on the planning and vendor selection. All wedding packages include tables, chairs, glassware, flatware, china, linens, centerpieces, and a beach ceremony permit. Palmetto Dunes wedding planners will also provide an altar or arch and related decor and handle all necessary setup and cleanup.
Cuisine
Plated and buffet options are available for dining, and a variety of hors d'oeuvres and stations are available for cocktail hour. Open bar options are included in some packages. The Beach Ceremony Package has proven popular and consists of four hours of open bar, a meat and cheese station, a buffet or plated reception, and cake-cutting services.
