Just so beautiful. This wedding venue was an absolute dream and allowed my wedding to be everything I wanted and more. From the days leading up to the big day, where we were in the wedding venue house working on flowers and prepping last minute items, to the send off. I loved every second I was on the property. Amy and Troy are so great and easy to work with - they are accommodating and flexible. The accommodations were perfect - all of the girls slept in the house the night before and we had a blast. The guys did as well. Loved it. I could not recommend more.

Cotton Hall has easily become one of my favorite places on earth. We got married here in April, and it truly felt like a dream from beginning to end. From the moment we first toured the property to saying “I do” beneath the beautiful oak trees, every part of the experience was filled with so much southern charm, warmth, and magic, exactly what we had always envisioned for our wedding day. We also rented the house on the property for our bridal party the night before, and it made the whole weekend even more special. The home is full of vintage character and charm and honestly felt like something out of a movie. It was the perfect place to slow down, soak it all in, and spend time with the people we love most before the big day. Amy was so kind, helpful, and wonderful to work with throughout the entire process. She truly cared about making sure our day was everything we hoped it would be, and we are so grateful for that. We will always have such a special place in our hearts for Cotton Hall and feel incredibly blessed that we got to celebrate one of the most important days of our lives there.

We went on a mansion tour in April 2016 with my grandma who lives in Bluffton. My, now husband, is a Social Studies teacher and was captivated by the history of the plantation. He looked at me and said, “If we get married, I’d love to have the reception here.” Two months later on June 26th 2016 we got engaged and on July 3rd we paid our deposit for June 30th 2018! Our two contacts for our event, Kirstin and Gina, have been nothing but helpful, responsive and excited for us as we planned our Rose Hill wedding! They were always available via email and phone and helped so much throughout the entire weekend, being accessible at the mansion to assist or handle anything we needed in the moment. Over our two year engagement we visited the mansion on three occasions, first with our florist, then with our photographer and finally to bury bourbon on the property in hopes of having nice weather on our special day… and it worked! We had bright sunshine and a beautiful sunset until the party ended and our guests went home for the night. We were also blessed with beautiful weather on Friday at the rehearsal dinner and Sunday at the send off brunch, both also at Rose Hill. We can’t thank the White family enough for their permission to get married at their home and for their kindness and hospitality throughout the two years we planned our wedding. They are two of the most wonderful people. What started with a tour and tea two years ago turned into the start of our lives together. We can’t say enough good things about Rose Hill and hope you love it too!

After looking at many different potential venues for our special day, I came across Coosaw Plantation and was so excited to tour it. I was immediately blown away by how gorgeous the plantation is. There's a beautiful avenue of oaks and so many different places to take amazing photos. The house is stunning, and it has the most perfect view of the river. There are two large lawns on either side of the house that were perfect for the cocktail hour and reception. There is plenty of room for guests to park, and the parking is just a short walk from the ceremony/reception spaces. I would recommend this venue to anyone looking for a southern plantation wedding with stunning river views. You definitely won't be disappointed!

the staff at the Heyward House was very helpful from the first call to the night of the reception. Nicki was awesome as was Victoria with the help she gave us every step of the way. This is a 5 star event
