Purchased by its current owners over 30 years ago, it has since seen a number of couples wed before loved ones. The venue can facilitate both indoor and outdoor celebrations featuring waterfront views and natural surroundings.
Facilities and Capacity
The mansion house located on the grounds dates back to 1790 and contains spacious lounge areas, sleeping arrangements, a kitchen, and a curved stairway. The exterior of the former residence displays a wide porch, white paneling, and turquoise shutters on symmetrical windows. The grounds are surrounded by marshes and feature rows of mature live oaks, a pecan orchard, and numerous ponds. Couples can select their preferred event location to exchange vows, from spacious waterfront meadows to small settings beneath mature trees. Both covered and uncovered receptions are possible according to couples’ desires. The venue can set up an open-air banquet against the backdrop of the mansion, or arrange a tented celebration on the grounds. Furthermore, guests are free to bring pets on site, helping to ensure that everyone is included in the occasion. Additional facilities include a silo, barn, and additional housing.
