I cannot say enough good things about Alexander's Restaurant and Wine Bar! This is a top-notch, upscale restaurant in the heart of Palmetto Dunes Oceanfront Resort. I contracted with Alexander's to provide the venue for my son and his fiancé's wedding rehearsal dinner. Lisa Garrick, catering and events sales manager, is one of the loveliest and most capable people you would wish to oversee such a special event as this. She is professional through and through as well as most kind and always pleasant. Lisa was ably assisted by Kayla Eosso, catering and event coordinator. The three-tier menu and beverage package were excellent. I heard nothing but raves about how delicious the dinner was. Service from the kitchen and wait staff was awesome! I would highly recommend Alexander's to anyone!

From our initial conversation until our send-off, my experience with Palmetto Dunes was top-tier! When I was overwhelmed, Lisa and Erin helped me every step of the way... even when it took us nearly 45 minutes to find the keys that were in my Aunt's purse, they help calm every situation!!!! Thank you for an excellent experience. From Dallas to Hilton Head, SC, we appreciate you all.

This day was the everything I dreamed of and the perfect location for my dream wedding. All the details were perfect and simplistic. I didn’t have to stress about any of it.

When my husband and I started planning a vow renewal for our 30th Anniversary we really didn’t have many expectations. We knew we wanted a casual yet memorable beach wedding for 40 guests. We chose to have the ceremony on the beach at The Dunes House, Palmetto Dunes on Oct 3 and a reception at The Veranda at Arthur Hills Golf Club after. Wow! We could not have made better choices! Lisa and Kayla at Palmetto Dunes made every decision easy. And their execution, from a memorial chair for our daughter at the ceremony to the set up and table placements at The Veranda. The entire wait and bartending staff were super friendly and attentive. The weather was perfect to open all of the doors at the reception for an indoor/outdoor experience. We had the southern BBQ Buffett and the food was by far the best wedding food we have ever had. Way exceeded expectations. We hired John Brewster to sing during both the cocktail hour and reception. He was amazing! The whole evening was perfect from start to finish.

Palmetto Dunes Catering was 5 star level of service for our wedding day. Food, Drinks, timing, decor were all 10/10 and was above and beyond what I expected for my big day. Highly recommend using this catering company for anyone wanted to get married in Palmetto Dunes Hilton Head Island!!

We had the most wonderful wedding weekend! From our Welcome Party at the Top Tracer/Big Jim's facility, Wedding at The Dunes House right on the beach, and our Farwell Brunch at Alexanders. We've always wanted a beach wedding and this was the perfect venue and everything we could have asked for. The wedding coordinators & managers Lisa & Erin were the best! So responsive, attentive, caring, and helped create our vision. They were there for us every step of the way. All of the food was incredible and our guests are still talking about it! The weekend was a dream!

We hosted our wedding rehearsal dinner at Alexander’s, and Lisa and the team did an amazing job helping us plan and execute a wonderful evening. The pre-event planning was smooth and enjoyable thanks to the team’s recommendations and help. The food was absolutely delicious and the service was great. We had a party of around 30, and the beautiful restaurant event space fit our group perfectly. We also felt it was great value for the quality of services offered compared to other area venues where we inquired. Highly recommend considering Alexander’s for your next event.

Alexanders Restaurant at Palmetto Dunes was the PERFECT venue for our welcome/rehearsal dinner for our son's wedding. Most of our guests were from out of town and everyone was impressed with the food and beverage selections that were all top shelf at a reasonable cost. The chef is a perfectionist, which was apparent in the quality and flavor of all of the dishes. The planning for the event was straightforward with clear communications so there was no doubt what was being selected and purchased. Lisa and her staff took care of every detail, down to placement of the appetizer tables. Service was perfect. We received nothing but the highest complements from our guests. Alexander's would also make a perfect wedding reception venue. There is not one thing that we would have changed or done differently. It was absolute perfection. We reserved the entire restaurant for the evening and the bride and groom loved it!

Last summer we held a rehearsal dinner at Palmetto Dunes and had a great experience. From the beginning, the coordinators were professional and communicated well. The staff at the resort were also professional and very attentive. The food tasted excellent and was presented beautifully. I would highly recommend the resort.

We held our son's rehearsal dinner at Alexander's Restaurant and Wine Bar. They were very easy to work with, had nice options to choose from for an event and the room was lovely. The food and service was very good. We had about 36 guests for the rehearsal dinner and everyone kept telling us afterwards how nice it was. I would recommend them for an event and would use them again in the future.

Our wedding was an absolute dream thanks to the team at Palmetto Dunes Resort. Erin and Lisa went above and beyond to make sure our day was perfect and stayed in constant contact during the planning process. Ryan and his team made the day of food and drink execution flawless - shoutout to Ryan for making sure we always had drinks in hand! We had so many guests rave about how amazing the whole day/night were and none of it would’ve been possible without the team.

No notes! This venue and team blew every expectation out of the water. Lisa and Erin were impressively organized, punctual, and helpful from the initial consultation through the end of the event. They made it so easy to enjoy the process knowing that they were going to ensure a fabulous event! I could not sing their praises any higher, they were nothing short of a delight to work with!

This was my first experience with PD Catering and it could not have been more positive. Lisa and Erin joined together to assist me in throwing a magnificent bridal luncheon that was absolutely perfect. They were communicative, easy to work with, highly organized and attentive to detail. The food was outstanding and the additional staff was professional and courteous. I recommend PD Catering and give them five stars!

02.25.2023 on Arthur Hills Golf Course!! Tim and Sarah absolutely CRUSHED our wedding and made it everything we could have dreamed of and so much more. Their level of service, the food (compliments to the Chef - seriously!!), attention to detail, expertise and recommendations made our day SO special and we couldn't have asked for more. They are amazing people and you will be so well taken care of from the planning process to execution. I couldn't recommend the Catering & Events team at Palmetto Dunes more! 10/10.

We couldn't be happier with choosing Palmetto Dunes for our wedding! We were married at The Dunes House. The staff set the standard to the best service ever! The food was fantastic, and the staff made sure we had everything we needed! Tim and Sarah are a dream team to work with especially during the event! They had it all "taken care of" and we enjoyed our time with friends and family! So thankful for them!

The Dunes House was the perfect venue for our wedding. We had our ceremony on the beach with the cocktail hour and reception on the deck. The food is OUTSTANDING. I can’t say it enough, our guests are still raving about it. The string lights over the deck make the most beautiful photos and the staff were so friendly and helpful in the planning process.

Could not have asked for a better venue. Courtney at the beginning of our planning and then Chelsea for the few months before our wedding day made this adventure absolutely perfect. We planned our wedding from Erie PA and could not have asked for anything better. Everything from start to finish was absolutely perfect. We have not one complaint about our evening. It was without a doubt the most magical experience. Our guests raved about the food and everything in between.

As a bride who planned her wedding from afar, I can't explain how incredible it was to have a manager and team who replied to every single question and email I sent them, who were so willing to work with you on any changes or accommodations and just overall want you to have the best experience possible. The Palmetto Dunes Experience would not be what it is without Courtney and Chelsea (events coordinator) and I could not be more grateful for their part in our day. Our families RAVED about the location, the venue, the views and the food and drinks were AMAZING. I am not one to write a review but when you leave your wedding day as happy as we were with what your venue does for you, YOU GIVE THOSE PEOPLE PROPS!!!!!

We had our wedding at the Dunes House and it was the ideal beach wedding vision. Courtney, the Events Coordinator, and Jocelyn, the Head of Catering, made everything so easy that all I had to do was answer a few questions for them and show up to my ceremony and reception! They made the process so stress-free and fun, and they helped bring my wedding dreams to life.

Courtney and Jocelyn are spectacular! Both women made the wedding planning process a breeze. They were quick to reply to emails and answered all of our questions. Courtney was so attentive and detail oriented from start to finish! I would highly recommend the venue based off these two ladies alone!

Planning the wedding from out of state could have been a challenge but with such great coordinators and a stunning venue it was very simple. I would recommend Palmetto Dunes to anyone looking for a beach wedding!

Courtney and Joselyn were both absolutely wonderful. This was our third time having to reschedule due to Covid and I was dreading planning another wedding but they made the process so easy. We had a wonderful day and we are so thrilled that we chose Palmetto Dunes as our venue. We also had our rehearsal at Alexander’s and the food and service was both phenomenal. I can’t recommend them enough!

My experience at Palmetto Dunes Oceanfront Resort was nothing but positive. Courtney (Catering Manager) and Jocelyn (Catering Coordinator) treat you as if you are the only bride they are planning for. They are with you each step of the way and take a lot of the stress away that comes with wedding planning. C&J are a detail oriented, helpful, and professional team. The catering team on the day of was also incredible. They were extremely friendly and genuinely happy to be a part of your special day. Ronald (Banquet Manager) was awesome and made sure the food and beverage service went smooth. I'm still getting comments from my guests weeks later about how great the staff was, how smooth the event went, and how beautiful the space was! I wish I re-live that day over and over again!

The Dunes House was a great venue for a beach wedding and beach side reception. The staff was super responsive and they did a great job coordinating the event. They were easy to work with and executed beautifully. The setup looked so great. I couldn't believe how well everything turned out. I couldn't have been happier!

Having our wedding at the Dunes House was the best decision we ever made!!! Planning a wedding is difficult but we live in Kentucky which made it that much more difficult being so far away. We could have not made it possible without the help from Courtney and Jocelyn. They are an amazing team who helped us with every step along the way! They answered every question we had and we had a lot! They are extremely sweet and very easy to work with and know exactly what they are doing. We put all our trust in them and they NAILED IT!!!!! When I saw the venue for the first time all set up I almost cried. Everything was perfect and was the exact way I imagined this all in my head. You can't ask for better views! I've always dreamed of getting married on the beach and having the reception over looking the beach and Courtney and Jocelyn made it picture perfect. And the food is AMAZING!!!! People are still talking about how fabulous our food was and I agree! You cannot go wrong with having your wedding at the Dunes House and you will not find a better team than Courtney and Jocelyn to make your wedding dreams come true!!!

We had our wedding there in August 2020 and it couldn't have gone any better thanks to the help of Courtney & Jocelyn. They were so great to work with from beginning to end - always prompt to respond to my questions and had such great recommendations based on past weddings they've hosted. They were able to follow my decoration instructions just how I envisioned it and as if I had set it up myself. When the weather was looking not so great all morning Courtney was in touch with me and was very honest, but ultimately left the decision up to me and let me know of the hard 'stay or move' deadline. We ended up lucking out and it was a perfect overcast night. I really appreciate Courtney taking charge where needed, but leaving it up to us to make the final call. We were originally planned for April 2020, but COVID got in the way. Courtney was the one to break the news to me about having to postpone, but was very sympathetic and provided us with a list of available dates very quickly. Having to re-plan a wedding during a pandemic is stressful enough, but they were both very creative in switching up plans and providing alternatives for us. It ultimately ended up being just what we had hoped for. My husband and I have walked past a few weddings on the beach in front of the Dunes House in our many trips to the island and knew immediately that is where we wanted to get married. We didn't look at any other venues. Surprisingly the beach goers sitting around nearby were very respectful during our ceremony (only about 15 minutes) and even turned their chairs around to watch and cheered for us at the end. It made the whole experience even more exciting!

Our experience at Palmetto dunes was flawless. From the first second I contacted courtney and jocelyn to set up my wedding event to the second we checked out of the resort these ladies made sure everything was perfect. Any little question or last minute change was met easily and they were constantly available for every possible need we had. Throughout the planning process I know for a fact they stayed late to help meet our needs and my wonky work schedule. Courtney and Jocelyn made us feel like we were the only couple having a wedding all week, and I definitely recommend them if you're looking for the best. My only gripe is that my wife and I didn't plan a long enough stay! We should have planned for an extra week to enjoy all the other offerings, but we'll be fixing that for our anniversary!

Palmetto Dunes was the perfect place to have our idyllic beach wedding! Courtney and Jocelyn were always responsive in answering any questions and anything we needed. It all went so perfect and all of our guests are still talking about how beautiful and fun it was and how great the food was too. Highly recommend if you're looking for a place for your own beach wedding!

Courtney and Jocelyn did a wonderful job coordinating our daughters wedding in October.
The venue was changed last minute from the Dunes House to Centre Court Pavilion due to a Tropical storm. The transition was smooth! It was as if we had planned to use this venue the entire time! Everything from food to service to venue was perfect! We are still getting compliments from our guests! Courtney was with us throughout the entire planning period through the reception. She is personable, organized and was wonderful to work with! We highly recommend Palmetto Dunes for your Low Country wedding!

We had our wedding in May 2019 at the Dunes House. Courtney and the whole team were great to work with from the beginning to end. We live in Pennsylvania and had to do a lot of planning over email and short trips down to HHI. Courtney did an amazing job and made our day as stress free as possible. We had our ceremony on the beach in front of the Dunes House and it was nice that our guests only had to walk a few steps to the reception. Overall, Courtney and her team made the wedding go as planned and how we envisioned it. We highly recommend the Dunes House for a ceremony and reception.

Words cannot express how amazing Courtney, Joycelyn and the staff were during the planning of our wedding and the day of the wedding. Everything was perfect all of them were very attentive and took into account of what our vision was for the wedding. The food was phenomenal, the location was breathtaking and we were able absorb a beautiful sunset. Everyone is still talking about it to this day. Both Cortney and Jocelyn took there customer service to a higeher level and truly demonstrated what customer centricity should be about. They made you feel like you are part of their family and was there from beginning to end. Words can express how grateful we are with the way it turned out and will treasure hundreds of pictures from that day and knowing they made it possible.

The palmetto dunes team was absolutely wonderful to work with and reduced so much stress for our big day so we were able to enjoy all aspects of our wedding. They handled it all from set up to tear down and anything inbetween. They were very responsive when I had my half way meltdown and eased any problems I was having. Courtney also kept an eye for the weather since we were having a beach wedding and gave me her professional opinion on moving our reception to the back up location which I think worked out even better! It was an amazing day and I cannot thank them enough for all they did. If you are looking for a beach wedding in Hilton Head this is the place to go!

My husband and I absolutely love Palmetto Dunes and working with Courtney Daley. We did our rehearsal dinner and welcome drinks for our October wedding at the Dunes House and we and our guests had an absolutely incredible time. The venue is the closest to the beach of all the Hilton Head venues, which provided an absolutely stunning view. On top of that, the food is so good! We did a low country boil and it was a hit. Courtney is a DREAM to work with. Her communication is top notch, she is so flexible, and she genuinely shared in our excitement. For anyone looking to host an event at Palmetto Dunes, we highly recommend Courtney and The Dunes House. You cannot go wrong!!

We were blown away by the amazing service and venue at the Palmetto Dunes Oceanside Resort!! We had an amazing destination beach wedding at the Dunes House with Courtney Daley leading the in-house wedding coordinating. She helped us to plan and realize the perfect wedding that we envisioned from way far away and in less than three months! Ms. Daley is not only extremely professional, dedicated and reliable, but she has a wealth of knowledge about the industry and the area. It’s an added bonus having a real local help you plan your wedding from a far that you can really trust. She provided us with a ton of honest feedback about our vendors, hotels, condos, restaurants, and everything in between which helped us to dial in exactly what we wanted to experience on our wedding day. I do want to make a specific point to highlight the food from the Dunes House. We had multiple people mention to us unsolicited that the filet was one of the best they have had in a very long time. What a compliment coming from a demanding Chicago crowd. Without any hesitation, I highly recommend this venue and the amazing Courtney to you for your wedding!!

The Dunes House at Palmetto Dunes Oceanfront Resort was the perfect setting for our wedding. The only thing I had ever thought about for my wedding before getting engaged was that I wanted to be barefoot with my toes in the sand. The Dunes House offered a lovely ceremony right on the beach and then a delightful reception outdoors. Our guests loved being able to hang out on the beach, play in the sand and take a walk on the beach during the reception. The food was absolutely delicious, something I'm not entirely used to at a wedding. We also went with them to cater our dessert table and it turned out perfectly.

Courtney was a treat to work with. She was very responsive and helpful, even helping us find an off-site location for our welcome reception the night before the wedding. I can't praise the staff enough for their helpfulness, professionalism and overall demeanor throughout the process. If you're looking for a beautiful, romantic beach setting for your wedding, I'd definitely recommend The Dunes House.

I was always able to get in touch with her same day for questions. I really appreciate everything she did for us day of and day before. She was there to help us thru who would walk down the isle when and took away all the questions and nervousness. I would highly recommend the Dunes House for your event. It's well worth the money!!!

The most beautiful setting to have our wedding with a wonderful top notch staff and support team. I would recommend Courtney Daley and her staff to everyone looking to have what everyone would be looking for in a beach setting. I recently got married at Palmetto Dunes in the month of June 2017. I worked closely with Courtney Daley, who was a patient, efficient, and flexible Catering and Events Manager. She used her expertise to guide me through the entire wedding planning process but was also open to any modifications that I wanted to make. Courtney also was very conscious of my budget. Courtney is the reason why I decided on Palmetto Dunes for my wedding and reception. In the 3 months, that I had to plan our small wedding ( about 60 guests), Courtney and the Palmetto Dunes team made us feel secure every step of the way. Just FYI: Our wedding ceremony was at the Dunes House and the reception at the Centre Court Pavillion: it was exquisite.

My wife and I can't say enough positive comments about the Palmetto Dunes resort, the staff, and especially our planner Courtney Daley. We were married on the beach at the Dunes House in late April 2017 and couldn't have asked for a more perfect occasion. The Dunes House location is absolutely beautiful; ceremony in the sand, dinner and party time on the deck. Courtney was a pleasure to work with, no matter how many questions or concerns we had, Courtney handled everything in a professional manner. Courtney was on top of all aspects of the planning phase thru the wedding and ceremony. Our meal was excellent. Our guests have had nothing but positive things to say about the entire day. I couldn't be happier with my wedding at Palmetto Dunes. We had originally booked the Dunes House for the ceremony and reception but due to rain had to switch the Center Court at the last minute. The rain was touch and go all day and our coordinator Courtney was wonderful with communicating our options and ensuring us that everything would be perfect either way we went. The set up at center court was beautiful! I gave Courtney a lot of decor and she and the staff laid everything out to perfection! The food was delicious- all of our guests raved about it! We had a very long engagement and Courtney was responsive and helpful through every step of the process. I had such a wonderful experience and would recommend Palmetto Dunes to everyone looking for a beautiful place to have a wedding!

This place was amazing and accomedating in every way possible. We had filet and lobster for dinner which was plated beautifully and the wedding coordinating and venue was gorgeous. Courtney Daley, the wedding coordinator goes above and beyond to make your day a day to remember.

We had our wedding and reception at Palmetto Dunes Oceanfront Resort and are so happy that we did! Planning with Courtney was a breeze from the beginning, she was always very responsive to our questions and good at asking us the right questions as well, so it was never overwhelming as we got things ready piece by piece. The venue itself is beautiful, we were married on the beach and had our reception on the Dunes House deck. Then when it got a little chilly that night, the venue was very accomodating about moving the party inside. Everyone has been raving about how good the food as well. I was particularly impressed as I have celiacs and am gluten free and the chef went the extra mile to make a gluten free fried chicken, and it was delicious! Can not say enough good things about the Dunes House, I grew up going to Palmetto Dunes on vacation and it was really a dream come true.

As the mother of the groom for a destination wedding, I would HIGHLY recommend Courtney Daley and her staff at Palmetto Dunes! We were able to easily plan the entire wedding from Ohio because of Courtney and Lindsay. They were always prompt and professional in their replies. They were always able to answer questions and to make suggestions regarding vendors. The venue itself was absolutely beautiful as the happy couple was married on the beach and the food for the reception was delicious. Courtney and her crew handled all of the details and made it so that the bride and groom (and the rest of us!) could enjoy the big day.

We had our destination wedding at The Dunes House in Palmetto Dunes in October. I couldn't have dreamed of a more perfect day. I know almost everyone says that about their wedding day, but it truly was a perfect day. We owe a lot of that to the staff at Palmetto Dunes. Lou Anne and Kaitlin are definitely the people you want to help you plan your wedding. They are so responsive, helpful and willing to do anything you need. We originally met with Lou Anne and then Kaitlin joined later in the planning process. We were able to meet with Lou Anne in person twice before coming down for the wedding. She scheduled a private food tasting for us. We chose to have the southern barbecue buffet and it was amazing. The chef knows what hes doing. And his barbecue sauce is fantastic. The food the day of the wedding did not disappoint. All of our guests enjoyed it. The week before the wedding, Kaitlin was so helpful. Even though we came from out of town, we still brought a lot of decorations. We were able to drop them off earlier in the week so we didn't have to worry about it. At the rehearsal, we showed them how we wanted to decorations. I was not too particular about how they were set up and gave Kaitlin the go ahead to use her imagination. They used all of my decorations and then some. They were so creative with some of the extra stuff we had brought. At the end of the night, the packed up all the decor and allowed us to come back the next day to get it all. Kaitlin and Lou Anne also contact all your vendors - flowers, dessert, etc. - to set up delivery times to ensure everything is where it needs to be. And the venue! Great price for the location and what is offered. We knew the beach was where we wanted to get married and The Dunes House offers such an intimate setting with the ocean in the backdrop. It was truly a perfect location for a smaller wedding. My husband and I love HHI and especially Palmetto Dunes.

My husband and I had our first vacation together on Hilton Head Island and stayed in Palmetto Dunes. We loved it so much that our venue choice was very easy when we got engaged several years later. Because we had an intimate wedding (about 35 guests), we opted to have the reception at a private home but with in-house catering by Palmetto Dunes. Our ceremony was on the beach in front of the Dunes House. We planned our wedding from NYC, and Lou Anne and Kaitlin were incredibly helpful every step of the way. Lou Anne gave tips for selecting a menu with lots of variety despite our smaller sized group, Kaitlin suggested the best spots to set up tables and unobtrusive prep areas for the staff, and they helped with a dry run the night before the wedding. Then, when our ceremony was postponed by rain, Lou Anne and Kaitlin were immediately ready to go with plan B, but helped us stay positive while waiting for the rain to stop, and got the chairs ready to go right when it did. They also helped rearrange the set up back at the house so that hors d'oeuvres and drinks were out as soon as possible. In short, they had a great attitude and were 100% prepared to handle anything the day threw at them. Also, the food was fantastic, and all of our guests raved about it (especially the jambalaya). Between the location, service, and the food, we are so thankful that we chose PD and highly recommend it!

We had our wedding on the beach and the reception on the deck of The Dunes House. It was the most perfect day of our lives! We left all of our decorations with Lou Anne the day before, and she set everything up the day of, so we didn't have to worry about anything. When I got to The Dunes House for our wedding, everything was set up beautifully, just as I envisioned. The staff also collected our belongings after the wedding for us to pick up the next day. The food was beyond amazing, everybody raved about it, and the staff were great. Lou Anne was great to work with throughout the entire process and made our wedding run smoothly! We enjoyed every second of it!

I am having my wedding here on 9/26 and LouAnne has been amazing throughout the entire process. The entire event staff has been so accommodating and friendly. It's exceptional service and the price point was definitely within my budget. They also have great event spaces as well.

We had our wedding at the Dunes House of Palmetto Dunes. The Dunes House has a large deck right on the ocean, were we had our ceremony and reception. First of all, it is absolutely BEAUTIFUL! Perfect place for a wedding, and I don't think I could have envisioned a more perfect venue for my beach wedding. I worked with Lou Anne, who was absolutely fabulous. She was sure to make sure every little thing was covered, and I felt so comfortable leaving my decorations and visions in her hands. Definitely recommend getting the light package, have the lights strung over the deck was stunning at night, and made for some great pictures!

Palmetto Dunes Staff were great! They were accommodating and very helpful. The food was great. They were attentive and quick at returning emails and answering questions. Would recommend!

The Estate on the Halifax was an absolutely beautiful venue for our wedding! We would recommend their staff and planning to anyone looking for a wedding venue! Thank you very much!

Having our wedding at The Dunes House in the Palmetto Dunes resort was the best and easiest decision we ever made. Everything for our day was beyond perfect and I cannot thank Kim of the Dunes House and Carrie from catering enough! I worked with Carrie for a year to make our day a reality and she was always friendly, professional and responsive! She truly made the planning process so easy! She truly went beyond my expectations, even coordinating a ceremony that was outside of Palmetto Dunes. Kim and her staff at the Dunes House did a fantastic job, the food was incredible and the drinks fabulous! The team at Palmetto Dunes did such a beautiful job with the decorations and were able to understand my vision! I cannot thank Kim and Carrie enough for everything that they did! Thank you Kim and Carrie!

Our wedding week and ceremony ended up being PERFECT, even though we had a few hiccups along the way. A few months after we booked our wedding ceremony and reception at Palmetto Dunes, we received a phone call saying that they had somehow overbooked our wedding day and we would not be able to have our ceremony or reception at the location we requested. Carrie, the wedding planner, did anything and everything to make our special day happen on the day we had already set. She ended up upgrading our wedding to a more secluded beach, which they provided a shuttle to transport all of our guests to and from the ceremony. Since the reception area was booked as well, she also made accommodations so we would still be able to have a reception in Palmetto Dunes.
Overall our experience at Palmetto Dunes was a very positive one! At any point through the wedding planning if we had a question or concern we would email or call, and within hours we would have a response. This was really helpful because trying to plan a wedding in a different state can seem to be a little overwhelming. I strongly recommend having your wedding at Palmetto Dunes Resort.

This was the best day of my life! Such a stress free time planning the wedding and this was shocking seeing as I was doing it all over the phone and email. Went off without a hitch! We used the Dunes House and everyone had a great time. Our guests are talking about our wedding (and the food) years later:)

We had the most amazing day on our wedding day at Palmetto Dunes. We picked Palmetto Dunes because we wanted a beautiful, relaxed setting for our wedding day, where our family and friends could enjoy themselves for a few days and celebrate with us. Basically a destination wedding, but state-side.

We picked right. Literally there was nothing that went wrong on our entire day (besides one of the groomsmen realizing he left his suit at home!). Most of our guests arrived Thursday or Friday. Palmetto Dunes helped us to organize a group golf outing, so 16 of us played Friday morning on the Hills course. They set up longest drive and closest to the pin, which was great to have and we had so much fun. That night we had a welcome cocktail reception with beer, wine, and light snacks (cheese and meet platters and a few passed hors d'oeuvres) at the Jones Pool, all provided by the Palmetto Dunes team. It was a perfect way to start the weekend and get to greet all of our guests that traveled down for it (most from CT, NY, DC). Honestly, I can't say enough about it - doing that welcome reception allowed us to have the most relaxed wedding day because we already had greeted everyone, so we didn't have to deal with all of the formalities on the actual wedding day.

The wedding day went off without a hitch. Our wedding was at the Dunes House. Pictures at the Hills course and off the main drive in those beautiful trees along the lagoon. We had the ceremony and reception on the deck at the Dunes House so that it was a little more private, and then went down on the beach later on for some more pictures. After the ceremony, we had a cocktail hour for an hour and didn't even notice the PD team pulling the tables out to their spots. removing chairs, and setting up for the reception. Then we sat down for dinner. The food was fantastic, and we had high standards for food - that was a big deal for us. They had just gotten a new chef before our wedding so we were nervous but had no reason to be. Our menu didn't change, and it was executed perfectly. We got a ton of compliments on the food (we did a buffet dinner). Decorations were so easy because the view of the beach here is amazing. I did floor length navy blue table clothes, and our centerpieces were rustic lanterns, surrounded by mason jars filled with flowers that I put together with my bridesmaids and my mom on Thursday before the wedding (ordered through the flower exchange - so easy). That was my favorite part - I really did not want to get overwhelmed and stressed out with a lot of the little details that I watched my friends do, so this was the perfect place because it really doesn't need much.

The entire thing was just amazing. Our families and friends were so impressed with everything. The service was spectacular, from the wedding planning help from Nicole and her team, to the golf team, to the guy that helped us dig through the dumpster at 7am on Sunday morning because I forgot to take my Nana's vintage pin off of my bouquet before I threw it out (yes that really happened, and the nicest guy ever helped us dig through bags and bags of trash). The hospitality of Palmetto Duines is the best I've ever experienced, and is what will make us go back again and again (we already rented a house for Christmas this year). One of the best parts was that our guests LOVED the mini-vacation that they got. There is something for everyone to do, and I know some of them are planning return trips already. We literally enjoyed every second of our wedding weekend, it was absolutely perfect and I'd recommend it to anyone looking for a beautiful place to get married with no stress. And for the record I was very conscious of cost, I don't believe in spending your entire life savings on a wedding, and they worked with me on everything. I felt it was a very reasonable price for the quality of wedding we had, everything was top notch.

Couple other notes:
- Signes is THE place to get your cake. Don't even bother with anywhere else. I cannot wait until our anniversary to eat the top layer :) It was gorgeous and delicious. She listened to what I wanted and delivered. A friend that got married a month after us modeled her cake after ours because she loved it.
- Hair Designers was a fantastic place for updos for my bridal party. They were so accommodating, let us order lunch ahead of time and bring champagne, and every girl's hair looked amazing (that does not always happen!)
- Got my bouquet and bridesmaid bouquets and ceremony flower setup from Flowers by Sue, and was not that impressed. I had heard great things about her, but I did not want to pay a lot of money for something I was going to throw out. In the end I didn't really like my bouquet. I'm sure if I was willing to pay more I would have been happier, but I wasn't. I just think its a waste personally and was an easy place for me to cut back.
- Joey from Jay Maxwell Music by Request was AWESOME. Jazz duo from Charleston Jazz was also great.

All my husband and I knew was that we wanted a beach wedding on the East Coast. We had never been to Hilton Head, SC before. We fell in love with Palmetto Dunes the minute we saw it! We got married barefoot on the beach and had the reception at the Dunes House following the ceremony. Everything was outside on the beach! What a beautiful location to get married! We had a very positive experience from the start working with Nicole Guy. She was great to work with and knew just how to make the day special. She made the planning easy as we were doing everything long distance. The food was fantastic and the venue was perfect! The servers/bartenders that serviced our event were great. We would highly recommend this venue to anyone looking for that perfect beach wedding!

Lauren and Courtney were, basically, true wedding planners that came as part of our Dunes House wedding package. I went into this not knowing ANYTHING as far as what I was supposed to do and these two women made me feel like an old pro! My wife and I were incredibly pleased with the entire day and the attention to detail was second to none. Thanks so much, you two. We cannot recommend the Dunes House, and the entire Palmetto Dunes team, enough!

We planned our wedding at Palmetto Dunes from Washington, DC. even through a few changes in staffing everything came together perfectly. Lou Anne was so helpful, we had to change our reception site 2 days before the wedding due to weather and she was accommodating and met with us so we could design a floor plan for the new space at the last minute. She wanted everything for our big day to be perfect, and it was!

We had our wedding at the Dunes House in the Palmetto Dunes Resort this October and words cannot describe how perfect our big day was. We were planning a destination wedding and had never even been to Hilton Head. We found the Dunes House online and knew it was the spot for us. Anne was amazing from day one. She answered countless questions through emails and phone calls and did anything and everything to assist us on the big day. Kristin was equally amazing. She took a billion boxes of stuff we hauled down for decor and transformed it into the wedding of my dream - but even better. She was right there from the minute the party started to lighting the very last sparkler. Willy was my hero throughout the weekend, he made sure everything went smoothly for our rehearsal dinner and for the reception. He even helped us pack up the next day! Kim was an awesome bar manager and totally put up with my cray family all weekend! The Dunes House itself is a gem and can transformed into nearly whatever you desire. And the FOOD!!!!!! I still catch myself day dreaming about the food. It was incredible!!!! Each and every appetizer and entree was executed to perfection. All of my guests just keep raving about it! I personally reccomend the Dunes House and its all star crew. My big day was all that I had imagined and more and I owe it all to them!

Loved our event at Palmetto Dunes. The team (Lisa et. al) were great. They were organized and helped us stay on task! Little hiccup with weather the day of but they quickly adapted and no one was the wiser.

My husband and I got married in Hilton Head on 9/14/24. We used Palmetto Dunes Ocean Front Resort to help plan and coordinate our wedding. When I was finally plugged in with my wedding coordinators, Lisa and Erin ended up being great. They were very very attentive, responded quickly to any questions, and made sure to stay on top of me to make sure everything was as I wanted it. They had every detail of the wedding planned out to the second which kept things flowing throughout the day, and made it so there was nothing I had to worry about on the actual day of the wedding, other than where Lisa told me I needed to be for each planned session of the wedding and reception. All the servers, bartenders, people behind the scenes were wonderful. Ryan was amazing and stopped at nothing to make sure everything we wanted we had. They truly wanted to make our day as perfect as it could be, and it really showed. I would recommend using them for anyone looking to plan their wedding on this beautiful island.

We has our daughter's wedding at The Dunes House and it was an amazing and unforgettable evening. We were right on the beach for the ceremony and walked right up to the Dunes House for the reception. Courtney and all the staff at Palmetto Dunes were top notch throughout the entire planning process. Courtney was always available and accommodating with all of our questions, requests and last minute changes. They did a fantastic job getting everything coordinated the day of the event. As the mother of the bride, she was patient and attentive to our needs. Weddings can be very stressful, but Courtney and her staff did everything possible to make the day perfect!!

Great location for a beach wedding. Our guests were very pleased with the view, the bar service, the bar selection, the food and the overall expereince. It's not cheap to get married in Hilton Head but Palmetto Dunes offers reasonable prices for their venue and catering.

Eveyone was amazing and made my day worry free. With the threat of storms all day, the staff waited until the last minute to make sure that my outdoor event would go off without a hitch. As an indecisive bride, I appreciated the recommendations and help that Anne Graves provided. I basically dropped off a load of decorations and just told them to use their own creative sense. All my talbes and everything turened out beautiful. The food was beyond my expectations. I expected the food to not taste like what we had for our tasting, as cooking for over 70 is much different then for 4. To my suprise the food tasted exactly like our tasting and I continue to get rave compliments on the food today.

My husband and I highly recommend Palmetto Dunes Resort - we were thrilled with every aspect of our wedding. Anne Graves was wonderful to work with, and she made destination wedding planning easy with quick email and phone responses. Our ceremony was held on the beach, with reception on the deck of the Dunes House. The food was EXCELLENT, and our guests also raved about the bartenders (very friendly and fun). We wouldn't change a thing, and I highly recommend you consider Palmetto Dunes Resort.

Palmetto Dunes is beautiful and our families enjoyed vacationing there during the week of our wedding. The wedding discount code for house and villa rentals was nice. We also used the discount for kayaking and other rentals.

Courtney and Jocelyn were friendly and helpful at every turn with planning the wedding. They even allowed us to put a military clause in our contract in case we had to reschedule due to deployment or relocation due to my husband's job in the air force. There was very little they had not already thought of and planned for.

The only thing that could be improved is an addition of a shuttle service for the bridal party. We stayed on the resort, but relying on the Dunes Buggy for a call on demand pickup was too stressful - I would've rather had a scheduled shuttle service for the day of. We ended up having some of the guys in the family drive the bridal party, but it was slightly inconvenient. I also would've liked a more private beach access location (as there were beach goers in the background of some of our pics), but that wasn't a huge deal.

We chose the southern buffet because that was in budget for us, and it was delicious. They even made scallop hors d'oeuvres at my request. I wish it would have been on budget to have the rehearsal dinner on the resort, but the price per person was too high. We toured another similar venue on HHI, but the price and value at Palmetto Dunes made the decision for us. We are glad we chose PD and we will gladly vacation there again in the future to reminisce about our wedding day.

I'm so happy we chose The Dunes House for our wedding. The food, the bar, the view, the lighting... Everything was amazing! Getting married in Hilton Head isn't cheap but Palmetto Dunes Oceanfront Resort had reasonable prices for the quality they provide.

My husband and I rented a home for the week on Palmetto Dunes Resort and held the ceremony and reception in the back yard of the home! It was absolutely beautiful! We planned the wedding from out of state, so we weren't really sure how everything was going to turn out! It was better than we could have possibly imagined! We ran into one little bump in the road (regarding the noise ordinance..and a whiny neighbor that had been complaining prior to our arrival)! This led to the possibility of us having to hold the reception inside the house which we were not happy about! It turns out though that the resort fought for what we really wanted and signed the contract for! We were able to do as we planned all along and everything turned out beautifully! Nicole, the resorts catering and events manager, was absolutely wonderful to work with! The food was great!! We can't wait to go back to the resort for our anniversary!!

The Dunes House was a great place for our small, casual beach wedding ceremony and reception. The food and bar was fantastic. The coordinators really wanted to make our day as perfect as possible. Be sure to have everything in writing, though, as many details and selections were mixed up throughout the process and some left at the final event. I would book an event here again though.

Lindsay Thompson was very helpful and responsive the entire time we were planning our wedding. She was there during our ceremony to ensure that everything went as planned. The ceremony and reception was beautiful. I couldn't have asked for a better venue. My only complaint was that it would have been nice to have a to-go plate of food to take with us since we wanted to visit with our guests during the reception instead of eating the delicious food. All of our guests were impressed with the food and the venue. I would highly recommend Palmetto Dunes, in fact - I already have recommended them to two friends that are planning weddings for the near future. :-)

Me and my husband were married in June on Hilton head island. Our ceremony was on the beach followed by the reception at the Arthur hills golf course club house. We chose to have a destination wedding and did all of the planning from michigan. Carrie Felix was absolutely amazing in every aspect of planning the wedding. She responded in a timely fashion, and I even had things sent to her office so traveling wasn't such a nightmare. The night was better than I could ever hoped for. The only down fall to Arthur hills as a reception site is that they have a quite ordinance by 10pm. I would have liked the night to last forever!

We rented a private home at Palmetto Dunes to have our wedding and reception in the back yard (46 Sea Lane). It was absolutely breathtaking. We couldn't have asked for a more picturesque place to have our wedding. What I didn't like was this:

We were told that we could have the event going until 10PM before we had to bring it inside. We agreed to this and had every intention of partying it up until that time. During our ceremony, neighbors across the lagoon were watching us with binoculars and then proceeded to call security (the first time) right after we cut the cake. Keep in mind that it was still daylight out at this point (dusk, but daylight nonetheless). The cops came and even said our music wasn't really loud, but they came back again, gave the head caterer a warning and told us if they had to come back, then we would be fined $1000. It was only about 9PM when they told us this. I told them our agreement with the caterer, but they just weren't in a good mood that night, I suppose. Since we were having issues, I looked for our event manager, Nicole, who was nowhere to be found. We were told that she left, so I called her. I got no answer. She later called back and said "yeah, just bring it inside". Well, easy for you to say when you didn't spend the $20,000 we just dropped on our wedding. Around 9:30, we came into the house and continued the party. I enjoyed myself immensely because after all, it was our wedding day and we weren't going to let this ruin it. But, let me run the timeline by you:

5:30 Ceremony started (this was the first time I saw everything, as I was gone and getting ready all day)
6-7 Cocktail hour (groom and I were out front taking pictures) - music was a string trio at this point
7-8 Dinner, low music by DJ
8 - First time cops showed up, music still low (so low, in fact, that I asked my groom to have the DJ turn it up)
9:15 - Second time cops showed up
9:30 - Party brought inside

I think we can all agree that $20,000 is a TON of money for a 4 hour event that we didn't even get to enjoy in it's entirety. All we wanted to do was stay outside until 10 on a Saturday. The kicker was that the next day when we checked out of the house, the front desk told us that if we would have been fined, then Palmetto Dunes would have paid it -- wish we would have known this, we would have stayed outside until 10, but our event manager told us to come inside.

My suggestion is this......if you are going to rent a private residence in Palmetto Dunes, my suggestion would be to have an earlier wedding with no DJ. If you want a party, utilize one of their other facilities on-site (such as the Dunes House). If we would have known that we would have issues with cops being called on us for no good reason, we would not have held our event at a private home. But we were assured time and time again that we had until 10 and that noise would be no issue. Or, have in your contract that if any fines are incurred before 10 PM, that Palmetto Dunes will be responsible for paying them.

I do applaud Palmetto Dunes for discounting our final bill because of the issue without us ever asking for this. But, a discount can't undo stress on your wedding day.

I’d like to start by saying Courtney who assisted us through the process was kind and supportive.
The reason for low scoring was everything that occurred the day of, there were several issues that should never have occurred and unfortunately had a huge impact on my experience.
To start with the ceremony, we were required to pay quite a large fee to have the ceremony occur on the greens rather than the beach. With a large fee you have higher expectations. I was told the greens on the driving range would be cleaned up (the bright yellow targets and tripping hazards would be removed and they were not) and the location of the ceremony was suppose to be much further back than it was placed, leaving everyone on a downslope. With the fee we had reserved this area, however precautions were not takin to limit golf cart traffic and we had to stop golfers from cutting off my aisle right before I walked down the aisle. Unfortunately we were not able to be part of cocktail hour because of photos however the food I did see was not impressive.
On to the reception. Paid for upgraded full length linens, did not receive them or a reason why/refund. Wanted an intimate arrangement for tables, tables space awkwardly as far apart as possible. Wanted healthy ingredients to be included in salad, literally only ended up with the 3 items we suggested go in salad as the salad. Wanted family style service, ended up with just a few giant bowls to serve way to many guests.
It was heart breaking to put so much time and money into this event and have it turn out as it did.
Please clean up service and have space heaters available for guests to use on those unexpectedly cold nights.

Great food and venue although the professionalism is terrible... Dealt with 3 different catering/event representatives during a 1 year period and were swindled out of $$$$1500.00... Think again before booking. Just sought legal council in Savannah GA to review the matter... Ridiculous..... Book Elsewhere...

Where do I begin, the list is long - Poor wedding planners - planners switched 1 month prior to wedding . Set up not complete for reception at time of arrival to venue. Chalk board directing guests to beach, no greeters as wedding party and guests arrived. Non English speaking bartenders did not understand drink orders. Candles not lite at sit down dinner. Dinner served late. Seating for ceremony incorrect - was pre arranged with planner to be half circle - was not. Wine picked out to be on each table - as stated in contract was not served. No coffee served with cake. Vendors were held back from venue - and contacted bride while trying to get in. Wedding cake was held in warm temperature while waiting to be allowed to enter venue and started to lean during reception. Basically our contract and all the time we devoted into discussions were for nothing. Not happy to say the least.
