Theresa Richter at Paddy Cake Bakery decorated our wedding cake for our wedding this past summer and she did an excellent job!! In fact, she was one of the main reasons that we chose Paddy Cake Bakery- in addition to their delicious cake of course! From the first time I spoke with her I could tell that she is very dedicated to her clients and making sure that they are satisfied - we knew we would be in great hands with her. Even though they make many wedding cakes, she made it a very personal experience. We know that this is unique to Paddy Cake, since we visited several bakeries before choosing Paddy Cake. She was so extremely quick to respond to our communications (in fact, she was the quickest of all of our wedding vendors in terms of timeliness of communication!!) and she made so many great suggestions for how to decorate our wedding cake. She sent us images and pictures as inspiration while we were deciding on the design. She took a swatch of the bridesmaids dresses and matched the color of the flower icing absolutely perfectly- we don’t know how she did it because it was a very unique shade of purple! She is such a kind person and so pleasant to work with as well! She was very patient with last minute changes and was even able to address an allergy issue last minute, which meant everything to us! She went above and beyond and we are so happy and thankful that we chose Paddy Cake Bakery to make our wedding cake! Overall, we highly, highly recommend Paddy Cake Bakery as your wedding bakery!

I recently had my wedding in June and I ordered my wedding cake through Paddy Cake Bakery. The cake was absolutely stunning! It was more beautiful than I had imagined. My guests actually commented that it was too beautiful to cut. There prices were really reasonable and it was sooo delicious! I cannot compliment them enough!

The staff are great I designed my cake and they made it just like I wanted it, no extra sales pressure and the price was great. It was tops on the highlight of my wedding.

The cake was delicious and nicely decorated. I would recommend this bakery. If you pick up your order double check it. They were so busy mothers day week/end they missed some of my delicious cookies.

I love Paddy Cake's chocolate cake and I wanted a very simple wedding cake. I placed my order and then tried to drop off payment and it was very hard to do so because Suzie has very limited hours that aren't conducive to a working person. I wanted a plan cake with ribbon and we dropped off edible ribbon only to be called and told it was a "complete disaster". No bride wants to hear that her cake is a mess 2 days before her wedding. The cake was good, but I wish I didn't spend the Thursday before my wedding in tears.

Beware hair and foreign objects in cake! Read reviews!
I am extremely disappointed with my recent experience at this bakery, not only because of a serious food quality issue, but because of how it was handled by management.
I purchased multiple cakes, and upon opening the box, I discovered a piece with a hair in it. This wasn’t an isolated concern limited to one slice, the cakes were packaged together, which raises clear concerns about overall contamination and food safety standards.
When I brought this to the manager’s attention, the response was both surprising and unacceptable. Instead of addressing the situation appropriately, I was offered what I consider to be a low and inadequate resolution, and was encouraged to continue consuming the remaining cakes. I was even met with visible offense when I declined.
To put this into perspective, this is like being served a full plate of food, finding a hair on part of it, and being told that since you removed that portion, the rest should still be eaten. That completely misses the point. Once contamination is present, the entire product becomes questionable.
As a paying customer who spent a significant amount of money, I expect a basic standard of cleanliness, professionalism, and respect. Being asked to “work around” a food safety issue, and then made to feel unreasonable for refusing, is not acceptable under any circumstance.
I still have my receipt and will be documenting this situation thoroughly with photos. I will also be taking the appropriate next steps to ensure this is addressed properly, including filing a report with the Better Business Bureau and contacting the local health department. This is not only about resolving my situation, but also about making sure other customers do not experience the same issue.
Due to both the condition of the product and the way this was handled, I will not be returning to this bakery, nor will I recommend it to others.
