We ordered extra cake thinking we would have some leftover… it all got eaten! When I say this was a huge hit, THIS WAS A HUGE HIT!!!

We had an amazing experience with Grain. Neither my husband nor I are gluten-free, but we sampled from many different wedding cake bakeries and Grain was by far the best. They have a ton of unique flavors and are open to lots of different combinations. We received many, many compliments on the texture, flavor, and look of the cake. Ultimately, the cake's exterior did come out a shade darker than we expected, and when we reached out to Grain about this, they provided a thorough explanation, described how they were handling it, and made a gesture to rectify the matter.

From taste testing to the big day day and everything in-between, these bakers rocked it!

It was a must for us to have a dairy-free cake and I am so glad we chose Grain!! They truly make the most delicious cake I've ever had, and I can't believe it was dairy AND gluten free! Our guests were raving about the cake even after our wedding.

Lauren was incredible. We couldn't make up our minds, so we settled on five cakes and some lemon loaves. Turns out, our guests were as indecisive as we were!! They each tried nearly all of them, and loved them all too! They were beautiful, delicious, and perfect. Lauren drove them all the way out to us, and though the heat didn't work so well for the cakes, she whipped them back into shape in the kitchen before they were put out. I couldn't even figure out what had happened to them! They were magical, perfect, and my only complaint is that we ate them after dinner so I was too full to eat all that much of them! Lauren will be our first stop for any important cakes from now on!!

Lauren is an AMAZING baker! She is so dedicated to everything she does! I love that she offers a cupcake for just about every dietary need as well. From Gluten Free, to Regular and Adult Beverage filled, to even Vegan! She has all the knowledge to make them PERFECT! I got enough cupcakes for about 120 people plus some extra, and literally came home with only a box left over plus my cake! Everyone raved about them and ate at least three! We even gave some to a neighbor who came over again to ask for more!!

Not only did I use her amazing cupcakes for the wedding but I have been using her for birthdays as well! I have never been disappointed! I will always recommend Lauren for every special celebration!

So delicious! Lauren is an amazing baker! She recently did our wedding dessert bar for us, and everything she made was amazing! Our guest loved the treats as much as we did and there were only 4 mini cupcakes and 10 meringues left at the end. Everything she makes is delicious and has unique flavor pairings. The finishing touches on everything are also beautiful! Highly recommend.

First, let me start with I hate cake but when we had our tasting with Lauren at her home she changed my mind. Her samples were delicious and flavorful. We were so excited for our cake but it was not what we expected. The day of the wedding when we took our first bites into the cake we were severely disappointed. We chose the Vanilla Bean option and it just tasted like regular white cake you get in a box at the grocery store. My husband LOVES vanilla bean and it just wasn’t the same cake we both had at the tasting. Also, we chose to do a few different desserts with her (bambolone, galettes, scones) the bambolone and galettes were amazing and all gone at the end of the night but we noticed we had plates and plates of scones left. When we looked we noticed it’s because they were all burnt! They were hard to bite into and tasted burnt. I couldn’t even tell the difference in the flavors and we got two different kinds because of the burnt flavor. Also, during the planning process she was constantly having issues with her email, ignoring questions all together or responding weeks later with any information I asked for. Overall, we were really sad at the outcome. Our cake and desserts, visually, were gorgeous but just not what we had hoped for taste wise.
