Museum Wedding Venues in Monterey

The Seymour Marine Discovery Center was the perfect venue for our wedding. Finding a place that so beautifully showcases the California coastline felt like a gift, and it delivered beyond our expectations. We had guests travelling from across the United States, Canada and Australia, so being able to show off the coastline was a highlight! Emily and the events team were absolutely wonderful. They worked seamlessly with our coordinator and vendors to ensure everything ran without any issues, turning our dreams into reality with such care and professionalism. The outdoor deck was a breathtaking setting for our ceremony. The ocean views as we said our vows were simply unforgettable, and our guests couldn't stop commenting on the scenery. The touch tank was a highlight, creating joy and laughs as our guests connected over the experience of exploring the aquarium together. If you're looking for a venue that combines natural beauty, a unique atmosphere, and a dedicated team, then this venue is a must. The Seymour Marine Discovery Center added something magical to our special day.

This is the BEST kept secret in Carmel/Monterey for a reception venue, BY FAR! We paid $1800 for the entire facility, were able to decorate however we wanted (REAL candles, use of the garden, fire pit, barn, etc). Most places in Carmel require you to use their caterer, cake person, florist, etc which I didn't want to do. We picked all our own vendors, had a cocktail reception in the garden, and dinner/dance in the beautiful barn. There's plenty of parking, they have tables you can use, and beautiful paper lanterns. The best part is NO TIME LIMIT!! We danced the night away until midnight. If you know the Monterey Penninsula you know that every other place makes you stop your music by 9 or 10pm. Not so at Hidden Valley, you can stay as long as you want. For us, this was the PERFECT place. If you'd like photos or ideas of how to decorate the place I'd be happy to email you.

The venue is gorgeous! It is an original adobe turned into an art museum with beautiful gardens, a huge rose garden, brick paths and beautiful mosaics everywhere! The art, fountains, gardens, and chandeliers add to the ambiance and the venue almost needs to additional decorations to shine. Additionally, we are working with Tiffani from La Mirada. She is serving as our venue and day of coordinator and she is wonderful! She has worked hard to make every idea my fiance and I have work and has gone above and beyond to help us create the wedding of our dreams! I would highly recommend this venue to any couple looking for a beautiful and romantic setting for their wedding!
