Oz's Jewelers, founded in February 1983 by Oz Hefner, is family owned and operated and is located in Hickory, North Carolina. Unlike many jewelry stores, Oz's Jewelers completes repairs in house by Oz himself. We take pride in our outstanding quality of repairs and customer service. Not only do we repair jewelry, we also sell and design pieces for our customers. We are members of Jewelers of America as well as IJO, Independent Jewelers Organization, and RJO, Retail Jewelers Organization. Oz is a board member of the North Carolina Jewelers Association and is certified through GIA in studies of Gold and Precious Metals, Certified Laser Specialist, Diamond Grading through Gem School America, and completed an apprenticeship from 1976-1983 at Thomas Company Jewelers.
