The wines made on-site are from a combination of grapes grown in the vineyard, and grapes imported from other local vineyards. Guests will enjoy seeing how the winery process works.
Facilities and Capacity
Weddings at Owera Vineyards are sure to be an elegant celebration of love. The facility provides sweeping views of the vines, greenery, apple trees, and ponds perfect for endless photos that will create lasting memories. Couples can choose from either the tasting room, barrel room, or grand tent event facility, depending on party size and aesthetic desire. The barrel room and tasting room are perfect for smaller, more intimate weddings with just close family and friends. They have warm wooden finishes crafted by local company, Cazenovia Cut Block. The grand tent provides space for a larger group, and has hardwood floors, a white linen ceiling, chandeliers, heating and air-conditioning, and gorgeous views. The maximum guest allowance at Owera Vineyards is 200, and there is enough parking for everyone. The facility is also wheelchair accessible. Guests are welcome to purchase wine from the vineyard to enjoy as a lasting memory of your lovely celebration.

Owera Vineyards Is Your Fairytale Wedding
Bailey was our venue provided wedding planner and did a great job at helping us navigate the many details that go into the big day, answering all of our questions over the months leading up.
We got married onsite and had a wonderful experience with the Catholic ceremony. We worked with the parish in Cazenovia and utilized their Deacon for the officiant.
Cocktail hour was outside and our guests raved about the selection of drinks that were available.
The reception followed inside the beautiful white tent and hosted all of our dinner and dancing needs. We chose Karen’s Catering (Aka Attilio’s) as our caterer. Owera is partnered with three caterers and requires that you go with one of their three.
Overall, we had an excellent experience at this venue and would highly recommend it to other couples in search of their dream wedding!

BEST TEAM & VENUE - cannot recommend Owera enough!!
Wedding Date: September 11, 2021 (during height of Delta surge)
My husband proposed the night before Thanksgiving, Nov 2020. We didn't want a really long engagement, but knew finding a venue for fall 2021 would be nearly impossible with so many 2020 weddings being rescheduled. We looked at four venues and Owera was the only place with a Saturday available (plus, I was going for a rustic + elegant vibe and the barns I saw were too rustic). From how well the grounds were kept to the professional staff to the vineyard/tent setting, it was everything we didn't know we were dreaming of!
And then, we actually planned and hosted the wedding. Jordan, our coordinator, was INCREDIBLE!! She walked me through timelines, shared checklists, and keep us apprised of all the changing covid guidelines. She was my partner in crime and recommended so many other vendors in the area, was transparent about who was easy to work with, and how to think about certain elements of the process (especially in the strange covid world). In late August, the Delta variant was running rampant and our guests were worried about how we were keeping everyone safe. NY hadn't instituted any restrictions at that point, but we decided to have everyone get tested - vaccinated or not - to ensure 130+ guests coming together was as safe as could be (we had plenty of guests decline our event due to not feeling comfortable, but many were able to make it).
Our wedding day was perfect, Jordan & the Owera team were outstanding (even when one of my bridesmaids got stung by a bee before the ceremony - they ran out to get benedryl cream!), and couldn't have imagined celebrating anywhere else. I am very type-A, but was incredibly calm leading up to the wedding - mostly because the Owera team is so terrific. HIGHLY recommend Owera for an upstate/central NY wedding, they take amazing care of each couple!
