From the moment we pulled into Owera's driveway, we knew it was meant to be! Every interaction, decision, and moment afterwards only confirmed that we made the right choice in our wedding venue. We will never stop being grateful for how incredible our coordinator Sarah was and how helpful every single staff member was on our wedding day and every day leading up to it. They helped us with all details, no matter how complex or simple and always made us feel supported and excited. We could not imagine having our wedding anywhere else, and we will forever be grateful for choosing Owera! -

We had the dream wedding that every couple hopes for. A mid-September wedding at Owera featured vineyards that were full and beautiful last weekend of summer type weather. The grounds and landscaping are nicely manicured and the venue itself is jaw-dropping.
Bailey was our venue provided wedding planner and did a great job at helping us navigate the many details that go into the big day, answering all of our questions over the months leading up.
We got married onsite and had a wonderful experience with the Catholic ceremony. We worked with the parish in Cazenovia and utilized their Deacon for the officiant.

Everything about Owera was lovely! Our day was perfect, and both Sara and Bailey worked so hard to make sure we got everything we wanted, and that our wedding went off without any hiccups. We worked with Owera closely throughout our almost 2-year engagement, and while there were a couple of times when we had to work even closer on details to ensure that everything was 100% - I can not think of a better group of people to work with. They were flexible and understanding and truly detail-oriented ensuring that everything we envisioned and planned was delivered. Engagement Date: November 25, 2020 (during covid)
Wedding Date: September 11, 2021 (during height of Delta surge)
My husband proposed the night before Thanksgiving, Nov 2020. We didn't want a really long engagement, but knew finding a venue for fall 2021 would be nearly impossible with so many 2020 weddings being rescheduled. We looked at four venues and Owera was the only place with a Saturday available (plus, I was going for a rustic + elegant vibe and the barns I saw were too rustic). From how well the grounds were kept to the professional staff to the vineyard/tent setting, it was everything we didn't know we were dreaming of!

My husband and I are extremely particular people. So much so that Owera was one of at least 13 venues we saw in central New York when we began planning our wedding in 2019 (a fact our officiant so kindly pointed out on our wedding day at Owera). The thoughtful attention to detail we both share made Owera a no brainer for our 10/10/2020 wedding date! Perfect venue, perfect team of event coordinator and staff, PERFECT EVERYTHING!!!!! Then COVID.

The best venue ever
From the beginning my dream was to be married at Owera. From the beginning Jody was so responsive around setting a tour up. Then we had the pleasure of working with Bailey! She literally pulled the vision together and made everything perfect. She was so responsive along the way and made our day beyond PERFECT! She was at all the right places day off- and even saved my vail before walking down the aisle! The entire Owera team was so wonderful. This will be our forever favorite spot! -

The absoulute best wedding venue + staff
Our wedding at Owera was, without a doubt, the most perfect day. The seamless flow of the day, the stunning setting, and Sarah's expertise came together to create an unforgettable celebration. Our guests were in awe of the venue's beauty, and we received countless compliments about how smoothly the day ran. Sarah's attention to detail was impeccable, making the planning process stress-free and enjoyable. She was there every step of the way, offering advice and expert recommendations. She helped us create a timeline that ensured the day ran smoothly, and she coordinated with all our vendors flawlessly. We couldn't recommend Owera more! -

Denise Sent on 01/30/2018Dawn and her team were amazing! They made our special day so wonderful, they made our Autumn brunch reception one for the books! We didn't have to worry about any details, they took care of everything! The facility was extremely clean and inviting to all our guests, with beautiful scenery. Plenty of room so we didn't feel crowded, able to move around and enjoy our guests. Having the separate bar area from the tables allowed people to leisurely spill out from the tables to enjoy the patio while still being able to listen to the jazz quartet (John Spillett). Jordan and her entire crew (Katie, Sam, and others!) were AMAZING! We cannot thank them enough for putting together a wedding weekend that we will never forget. They put together an itinerary and layout that fit our vision perfectly. They were extremely organized and detail oriented, allowing for everything to go off without a hitch. Because of their seamless work behind the scenes, we could enjoy every moment of the day without a worry.

I'm going to be as honest and objective as I can be. Take everything as you will because each experience is definitely different.
Pros: The venue is beautiful. Without a doubt each part is gorgeous and the weather thankfully held out to make our ceremony and reception fantastic. Even if it hadn't, they provide different back up options. They are a bit pricey but you are getting a lot, in my opinion, for your money. Coordinator, tables, chairs, linens, cleanup, all the things we really didn't want to have to think about, handling was taken care of. Each staff member we interacted with was kind and friendly.
