Working with Carol (and her sister Carol!) was one of the most meaningful parts of my entire wedding journey. My destination wedding at the Royalton Riviera Cancun would not have been the same without them. The value was incredible — they worked within my budget, fought for the best rates, and made sure my guests had options they were comfortable with. Every penny felt like it went toward peace of mind.

But what truly set them apart was their heart. Their professionalism was perfection, but their attitude… that’s what changed everything for me. They were patient, warm, and supportive in a way that felt so personal. We talked almost every day, and now that the wedding is over, I genuinely miss our conversations. It felt like losing a little piece of my daily routine, because they weren’t just planning my trip — they were walking through the entire experience with me.

When negative reviews started coming out about the resort after I booked, I was overwhelmed and scared. Carol never let me spiral. She reassured me, kept me grounded, and reminded me that everything would work out. And she was right.

She handled every single guest, even the difficult ones, with unbelievable grace. She made me feel understood, taken care of, and never alone in the process.

I reached out to ODW with 3 resorts in mind, Carol gave me her review of each one, and we went from there selecting Majestic Elegance Costa Mujeres as the best option to fit us. From creating a user-friendly booking site, and handling all guest communication, to coordinating the initial conversations with the resort, and ensuring a seamless transfer to and from the resort. The ODW team did their best to make travel the least of our worries, especially with traveling with 90+ guests. Our guests raved about the quick responses and had no complaints. We'd love to be able to book group travel with ODW again, and we'd recommend them to anyone considering a destination wedding.

I got married this past September at CDC in La Romana, DR and thanks to Carol and ODW we were upgraded to a beautiful room, and I was also able to get ready at the VIP bridal suite for free! Our group trip to Punta Cana was amazing, and a big part of that was thanks to our travel specialist and her Our Destination Weddings team. They were attentive to every detail during the planning phase from the very beginning, and when our flight was cancelled, they stepped in immediately. Even though we had to pay more to fly out the next day, she handled everything with the resort and got our dates moved for only a small fee — which her company later refunded.
Her professionalism, calmness, and care made a stressful situation so much easier. We’re truly grateful for everything she did for us.

This was my very first time working with a travel agent. The goal was to have travel arrangements set up as organized as possible with guests. Carol and Carolisa were amazing at this! They are professional and quick to respond and connect you with the right people. They provided a personalized wedding page that allowed guests to book with all booking/hotel details provided. They are both bilingual and can communicate efficiently in English and Spanish, huge plus for those who speak Spanish. They handled the majority of our wedding guests and resolved any issues at hand. Initially I had plans of staying at one resort near Kukua, but they understood my needs and helped me find a MUCH better resort. So thankful for this. They took the time to listen to my vision and understood what I was looking for. They didn’t just book with my first choice. No regrets whatsoever. Dreams Macao was the type of resort I was looking for. Clean, modern, quiet, not overcrowded, family friendly! It is a little further out from Kukua. But it was so worth it! Plus they got us great rates!

As far as concessions, we received our room comps 2-3 weeks after checking out. We were offered a welcome cocktail/dinner for a group of 30, but did not use it for personal reasons. Instead I chose to do an all white welcome cocktail at the lobby bar. About 100 guests showed up. It was perfect. Live music was playing and a clown even showed up for the kids! Wonderful experience.

We did not get a room upgrade, which was disappointing given the number of rooms in our group. However, they did mention from the beginning that this was based upon availability. So communication was clear on their end. The hotel itself also did not provide any additional benefits. If concessions are super important to you, then keep this in mind when choosing a particular hotel. Ask them upfront about this! The staff at Dreams Macao made the experience wonderful and accommodating for my party of 100 guests! Thank you to Carol and Carolisa for such a stress free and smooth experience!

Hopefully you find them first before making arrangements with a venue, they are very knowledgeable in this department - they can help you find venues and will give you good feedback. They can assist you with finding dates that are more affordable throughout the year for a wedding date (if you are flexible).
