Nick Gerber is an amazing photographer. We told him we are not really comfortable in front of a camera and that we do not know what to do. He made the process feel so natural and the pictures turned out absolutely gorgeous. We chose him after seeing his work for two friends' weddings. We will continue to pass it along since he was such a joy to work with. Even more importantly, our pictures are beautiful, and we will cherish them for the rest of our lives. He did not miss a moment at our wedding and he captured everyone's personalities as well. It must be easy when you also wear shark shoes to an engagement photo session!

We were extremely pleased with Nick Gerber from Orange 2. He was punctual, dressed appropriately, and had the greatest attitude for the duration of our whole day. He is so professional and has such an eye for detail. My dad has an old lawnmower, this clunky chainsaw, and a log-splitter; we have a tradition that those antiques have to be placed in any Mactaggert wedding photo at some point in the day. Nick didn't disappoint; he got some pretty dope pics of the groomsmen cutting logs up (action shots are so much fun!) Awesomeness on so many levels.
He communicated very well with everyone too. We have an extensive family and only had a certain amount of time allotted at the church. No problem for him; he's efficient - got everything done in like 25 minutes. A+ from us, Mr. Gerber... A+.

Ask for Maggie - she is AMAZING. We had done our engagement pictures with Orange2 and loved how they turned out, so we did our wedding pictures with Maggie too. From the little details to those special wedding moments - they were captured so beautifully. We probably did not have the easiest families to work with, but Maggie did a wonderful job getting everyone together in one spot, which is why we feel the pictures turned out amazing. If you had to splurge on something, splurge on Orange 2. They will take great pictures for you to cherish after your wedding.

We used Orange 2 for our September 20, 2014 wedding at Old St. Patrick's Church and the University Club Chicago reception. Words cannot express how easy Belen (and Kenny) was to work with. She has such great creativity and really listens to what you want.

It's was a rainy Saturday, so all plans were out the window! She used a Weather app to find appropriate places in the city where we could stay dry. There were even some impromptu pictures, when each of the photographers saw good lighting.

We were just so pleased at how easy they made everything that day. We cannot wait to see the proofs!

My husband and I worked with Nick Gerber from Orange Squared and couldn't have been happier. Nick was hands down our favorite vendor to work with. My husband was concerned about being "on camera" and we'd both seen some pretty awkward wedding photos. Our package included an engagement session during which Nick immediately made my husband feel comfortable and natural and the photos turned out great! When our wedding day came, Nick and the second photographer were on time, professional, but most importantly, having a lot of fun with us and our wedding party. Every single bridesmaid and groomsmen (many of whom were married) told us our photographer was awesome, so laid back and just like hanging out with one of their friends, only he had a camera. Nick even helped tie the groomsmen's bow ties. He captured our day beautifully and I would recommend him and Orange Squared to any engaged couple.

Our experience with Belen from Orange2 Photo (a sub-company of Gerber and Scarpelli) was nothing short of amazing. From our engagement shoot to our actual wedding photos, they were worth every last penny. Belen was professional, directive, and just fun to hang out with during all those hours of photos! I appreciate all her talent and can't wait to receive our book (if I can ever decide on the photos for it). We also really appreciated we were given copyrights to all the photos so we could print them for family and friends at a lower cost than the company - made sharing this beautiful art so much easier!

Belen was amazing. I pushed my fiance to go over our budget for this because I sensed that she would do a great job, and boy was I right. The quality of the photos is well beyond what other photographers in the price range could provide. She even pushed us gently to get outside our comfort zone for some of the photos, with incredible results. I had a idea for our than you card shot, and she took it to new heights. Most importantly to me, Belen was able to make herself nearly invisible so I felt completely comfortable around her. In part, I think that the time we spent getting engagement photos gave her an idea of my style, and certainly helped us feel more natural being photographed on the big day. Nick Gerber did a great job. He fit right in with my crazy friends and I felt as if we had known him forever-not that he was some random photographer. It was like having a friend around. He helped select some funky sites to take photos after the ceremony and he kept the photos for the altar shots flowing so we were not standing up there forever. I would highly highly rec him and the team at Orange 2!
