From the beginning, they really understood our vision for a documentary-style wedding video and truly brought it to life in the most beautiful way.

Gary and the One Story Weddings team covered our wedding in June 2025, and my husband and I can't recommend them highly enough!! Gary was unquestionably our wedding day hero! We could not recommend him more highly.

When selecting vendors, we cared a lot about photography and interviewed so many photographers - far more than any other vendor. We kept picturing having beautiful wedding photos of our day that we would cherish for years to come - romantic shots of us as a couple, family photos to treasure as our family grows, sentimental shots from the ceremony and snapshots of all the beautiful details we spent months selecting. However, it became clear in having these various conversations with prospective photographers that your photographer also plays a huge role in the flow of the day. They need to have an artistic eye and a talent with framing and taking pictures, yes. However, they also need to be good time managers, clear communicators, focused and attentive, as well as strong leaders - they act as the de-facto quarterback during your event, leading not only you but also other vendors in executing on your vision. They are also the vendor you spend the most time with throughout the entire day, and their energy has a big effect on yours. We didn’t fully appreciate how impactful our photographer choice would be for our wedding until Gary knocked it out of the park across all these metrics; Gary was an impressive artist who ran a remarkably tight ship despite unexpected obstacles, all while exuding an effervescent energy that uplifted the mood of our entire experience.

We chose Photography Collection 2 and first met Gary in person for our engagement shoot 4 months before our wedding date. Gary suggested a number of locations for the shoot and shared honest considerations of each location, our outfit choices, etc. before we settled on our final choices. The 2-hour shoot was very fun, we learned a ton and got comfortable working with Gary and had beautiful photos we LOVE that we used on our wedding website, at our wedding and have framed around our house to this day.

Before our wedding day, Gary sent us a very comprehensive questionnaire to complete so that he was familiar with our family members / bridal party, the details we wanted photographed, what poses were important to us, etc. This call gave us a lot of confidence going into the day that Gary was on top of things.

On our wedding day, Gary was incredible. Our hair & makeup ran almost an hour behind schedule, and our videographer (who we hired separately / was not through One Story) had an issue with her equipment and was also an hour late. Gary showed up early and brought a calm but in-charge energy that we really needed! He incredibly made up for the lost time from hair & makeup but managed to get all the shots we requested for family and bridal party. He kept things moving while also keeping the energy light and fun, saying things to bring out our genuine smiles and delivering with the positivity.

All this AND our photos are stunning. We got all the shots we wanted and more, Gary scoped out beautiful areas at our venue for us to take a variety of photos. We had a hard time choosing which shots to print and hang around our home, and printed a number of photos, which we love looking at everyday! We are also excited to make a bound album with all of our favorites.

Gary is amazing - we really couldn’t have imagined our wedding day without him and never will, especially with all our beautiful photos that allow us to reflect on the day everyday!

Gary was early to every wedding event and ready to work! Scoped out all of his spots for photos and videos! His team was outstanding to work with, all very nice and easy to communicate with!! Our team will 100% be booking them again! They offer the full package so its an easy one stop shop photo, video and content!

We had the pleasure of working with Gary and OneStory as our wedding photographer. From the start, Gary was very patient going over the packages and answering questions. Their photography style matched our preferences. We thought the packages were priced fairly for the level of services we wanted and even included an engagement shoot. For the actual wedding, we had Kevin shoot it with the help of Neil. Both were great at giving directions and making us comfortable in front of the camera. OneStory was also fast at getting us the photos, having our final collection of about 1,000 stills to us within 3 weeks of our wedding. The final products came out great and we look forward to cherishing the photos for the years to come. Overall 5/5 stars for one story.

As an aside, we really liked their video style as well, just had a previous connection from my Brother's wedding with another group, but otherwise would have went with OneStory for both.

He has an amazing talent for capturing genuine emotion and creating stunning photography. On Wedding Day, we met the rest of the photo & video team and they were all awesome to work with & did an incredible job capturing our day. We will be getting our final photos & video in the coming weeks, but the sneak peaks shared by the team so far are absolutely breathtaking - we cannot wait to see the finished product!
