Working with OneStory Wedding was an incredible experience from start to finish. Their team arrived on time, fully prepared, and were extremely professional throughout the entire day. From the beginning, they really understood our vision for a documentary-style wedding video and truly brought it to life in the most beautiful way.
We were blown away by the quality of both the video and the sound. The different camera angles captured so many special moments that we didn’t even realize were happening at the time. One of our favorite parts was the sweet messages from our close family and friends — it added such a meaningful layer to the film.
Watching our wedding video felt like reliving the day all over again. It’s a memory we will cherish forever, and we’re so grateful to the OneStory team for capturing it so perfectly. -

Gary and the One Story Weddings team covered our wedding in June 2025, and my husband and I can't recommend them highly enough!! We're thrilled with our footage, and our entire experience working with them was seamless. Our photos and videos are beautiful mementos that we’ll treasure forever. The best gift is that the footage genuinely feels like “us” at our very best.
There was no challenge too big and no detail too small for this team. They captured both our South Indian and Western events with exceptional care, enthusiasm, and artistry. Their excitement in the moment was contagious; they made us feel confident and genuine despite our initial worries about posing feeling forced. They somehow did all of this without interfering in how special moments unfolded; their ability to be present yet unobtrusive was truly remarkable.
Gary and One Story Weddings are unmatched in so many ways:
– Attentive from start to finish: Gary was responsive, thoughtful, and thorough throughout 12+ months of planning. He somehow made us feel like his only clients!

We worked with One Story Weddings for our engagement shoot and wedding on May 10th, and we couldn’t be happier! Gary and the entire One Story Weddings team were absolutely incredible. From the moment we started working with them, they made us feel so comfortable and excited about the whole process.
From our engagement shoot to the big day, they beautifully captured every special moment. They were professional, attentive, and extremely knowledgeable—which was clear in how smoothly everything went and how amazing the photos and videos turned out.
They really took the time to understand our vision and brought it to life even better than we imagined. On the big day, they helped everyone feel relaxed in front of the camera and kept things calm and fun—which isn’t always easy during what can be a hectic time!

Amazing Team
We hired One Story Weddings for our wedding on July 20th and we cannot speak highly enough about our experience with Gary, Jake, and the entire One Story team. We knew we loved their work from their portfolio & socials, but it was after our first call with Gary that we knew that this was the team we wanted to work with. From Day 1, Gary was professional, knowledgeable, & easy to work with, walking us through his process and offering guidance based on his expertise and prior work at our venue. It was after our engagement shoot with Gary that we really knew we had made the right decision - Gary made us feel so comfortable & relaxed throughout the entire shoot, and the photos turned out incredible. He has an amazing talent for capturing genuine emotion and creating stunning photography. On Wedding Day, we met the rest of the photo & video team and they were all awesome to work with & did an incredible job capturing our day. We will be getting our final photos & video in the coming weeks, but the sneak peaks shared by the team so far are absolutely breathtaking - we cannot wait to see the finished product! We truly had the best experience working with OneStory Weddings and could not recommend this team more! -

Gary and the team are AMAZING!!
We chose One Story Weddings for both our photography and videography and it was one of the best decisions we made for the wedding! Gary was such a pleasure to work with from our initial consult to our final photos. We could tell from the beginning that Gary took the time to understand us, so he and his team could authentically tell our story in the photos and video. Hiring your photo/video team is stressful and such an important part of wedding planning, and you truly can't go wrong with One Story. Gary was super on top of everything, timely, and worked with us one on one to truly understand our most important pieces to document and the vibes we wanted! Plus, the team was able to turn one of the inevitable wedding-day curveballs (photo location issues) into a highlight, and the photos turned out even better than the original plan. They kept us calm all day, and most importantly, kept the vibes fun -- we had a blast with their team! Which also made for amazing candid photos with our friends and family, too. We loved them and LOVE the final product! Would highly recommend!! -

Gary was an absolute dream to work with from our first consult to getting our final photos. At first, I was weary about booking One Story because of their higher price, but my husband and I are SO glad we did! The photos were absolutely beautiful, the entire team was professional and fun (easily kept everything on schedule), and made us feel so comfortable (as you can tell in photos too). When you think about it, you spend about as much time with your photographer as you do you with your spouse on wedding day, so to us, they're definitely worth the investment! Gary was also so helpful with our timeline, and had tons of useful tips. He also made himself available throughout our planning process for ad-hoc questions and concerns, and always kept us laughing. Could not recommend this team more! -

Dream Team Photo & Video
When I got engaged, my friend introduced me to One Story Weddings because she was a bridesmaid for a couple who used One Story Weddings for their photography and videography. She told me that they were the absolute best team to work with (and she was in a lot of weddings the year I got engaged) and she was absolutely right. I worked with Gary to ask him tons of questions because top tier photography and videography were a priority for me. He was extremely kind and reassuring with all of the questions I had. Unfortunately, we had to postpone our wedding due to covid, but he was flexible as we changed venues, dates, etc. and made sure we had all of our questions answered. My husband and I are a bit camera shy, but Gary made sure we felt comfortable and even had us playing games while doing our engagement shoot. The photos look so candid and we couldn’t be happier with the results. Engagement and wedding photos can take a while to come back to the couple due to the editing involved, but Gary was sure to send us sneak peeks after our engagement session and our wedding day to make sure we had a little something right after. Gary and his entire team were so thoughtful and fun to work with. They have a lot of experience and were so communicative. They have a great eye for small details- I cannot wait for the rest of our wedding day photos and our wedding video because I know they are going to be better than I imagine. I couldn’t recommend One Story Weddings more and know that you will be in the best hands.

We came across a One Story Wedding youtube video when we were looking for our wedding venue. The way they had captured the venue was beyond perfect then we fell in love with the way they told the story of the couple and immediately started crying watching for someone we didn't even know. As we had booked our wedding venue at Black Gold Golf Course, we knew we wanted to reach out to One Story to capture our wedding.
From the start of making the inquiry, Gary responded quickly to set up a meeting with us and walked us through EVERY single detail you could imagine about the process. He gave us time to think about it and didn't pressure us to book with him. We left the phone call and knew immediately that just based on the customer service of him wanting to get to know us and our vision it was a no brainer to hire them.
We had everything booked for our wedding then COVID hit and we had to postpone it to a later date. Reaching out to One Story - they were able to accommodate our new date by adjusting their team as they were already booked with another couple. As places were opening back up, we were finally able to book our engagement shoot and Gary was EXCELLENT with this! He made us feel so comfortable and he's a joy to be around! We were even fortunate enough to be a part of their "THIS IS OUR YEAR" video which was a really fun time to get our friends and family amped up for our big day!On our BIG day, the service was BEYOND excellent! Talk about sticking to a timeline and executing with no issues! From starting with our morning prep to arriving at the venue and doing our first look, to our ceremony then reception and ending the night with our sunset footage. Make sure you take the time for sunset footage as these were our best shots! Gary and team we so professional and LITERALLY captured every single moment of our day.
Now for the wedding video - definitely bring a box of tissues! We knew what awesome work was out there for them, but when it comes to your own footage it is crazy how this team is so talented to put together such a beautiful story line and let us relive that day over and over again. They truly made our video so special to us and created such an amazing product that was COMPLETELY worth every single penny!
If you are looking for a wedding videographer and photographer - do NOT hesitate with booking One Story Wedding! This team/company was completely worth our money because at the end of the day, although it's a crazy long day it is so awesome having good quality footage to look back on and have with our memories! They truly made us feel like we were celebrities!

My wife and i came across one story from the tens and hundreds of wedding videos on YouTube. We did not know who to choose from because there’s thousands out there and we didn’t have the best referrals. One day we saw a one story YouTube video and on that video was also our officiant. My wife and I instantly fell in love with the cinematic style from one story’s videos. Gary and the team had been very informative and kept us in the loop with progress but the most important thing is they listened to our ideas, acknowledged what we want and also gave us suggestions and guidance towards finding the style we are going for thaw we couldn’t put into words. Their music choice for my wedding video is perfect and breathtaking. If anyone is looking to have their money well spent and looking for a videographer that actually crates based on your wants needs and happiness, please reach out to one story. -

My husband and I have nothing but amazing things to say about One Story. Hiring them was the best decisions we made for our entire wedding. We were unsure about getting a videography for our wedding, but we were sold during our first conversation with Gary. He made us see the value in hiring a good photographer and videographer for our big day. We are so happy we ended up doing videography! During the first call, Gary walked us through the entire timeline of our wedding day. There was not a detail he missed. The wedding day was an absolute dream and they made us feel like celebrities! They made the day so perfect, and shot everything we asked for and more. We cannot thank the One Story team enough! -

When my husband and I started wedding planning in 2019, one of the first things we decided was that we had to have One Story capture our big day. They had filmed the weddings of several of our friends and family, and they consistently produce gorgeous, high-quality videos that capture the best emotions of the day. Their videos give me all the feels, which says a lot since I'm an INTJ.
Since we first reached out to them, they have been professional and open with communication. Through the COVID pandemic and the rescheduling (we rescheduled twice!), One Story was super flexible and accommodating. They even did a promo/hype video for some of the couples who had to postpone their weddings, which was very generous of them.
On the wedding day, the videographers (Sam and Jordan) showed up on time and were very friendly and professional. I'm usually camera shy, but they make you feel comfortable. After the wedding, One Story kept us in the loop that they wouldn't be able to deliver the video in their normal time frame due to the backlog of filming rescheduled as well as new weddings. That was totally fine with us, we prefer that they didn't rush so that they could keep up the quality that they're known for. We appreciated their transparency. It was worth the wait! Our video came out perfect, exactly as we had hoped and envisioned.
TLDR: We highly recommend One Story!

One Story Wedding was the perfect choice for videography for our wedding. They were recommended by our wedding planner, and after seeing their work, we knew we wanted to hire them. Leading up to the wedding (including postponements and venue changes), they were so easy to work with. On the wedding day, they were professional, present, and made my husband and I feel very relaxed to be in front of a camera. Our final product was absolutely stunning. In my husbands words while watching the video, we felt like we were watching a movie trailer. It was the perfect length, captured the highlights of the day, and beautifully put together. We loved working with this One Story Wedding and are looking forward to having this video for the rest of our lives! -

Gary was the best wedding decision we made!
To start with, Gary is excellent with communication. In our first meeting we went over everything in detail to cover which type of photos we want and what our vision is for the day of our wedding. He followed up with an email detailing everything we had talked about, which covered all the little things I had already forgotten.
We did an engagement shoot with him, which got us comfortable with different poses and how a photo shoot works in general. We have never worked with a photographer before, but working with Gary was so smooth and efficient, and he's extremely good with guiding you to have the best looking photo outcome, especially when you have no idea what to do! Doing the engagement shoot was a blast and the photos are stunning! It also made us much more comfortable for photos the day of our wedding because we knew what to expect.
Gary and his team (Brian, Emily, and Sergio) were absolutely incredible to work with the day of our wedding! They were great at guiding us on what to do and the perfect locations on site to get amazing pictures. Everyone on the photo/video team was nice, respectful of everything going on, and fun to be around for the entire day! Gary especially went above and beyond to not only capture amazing photos but also to keep everyone calm and help with little issues that inevitably arise during a wedding day.
I'm so impressed with Gary and his team and highly recommend One Story Weddings to anyone looking for photography/videography services. -

LOVED One Story Wedding!!
Gary, Meghan and Jake were AMAZING from start to finish. Not only were they so unbelievably flexible throughout our whole COVID wedding process (first, postponed to a later date, then changed to an out of town location), but the photos at the end were so beautiful.
We had seen a video they had done of a wedding and got all the feels watching it. After visiting their website and seeing that they also did photography -- and very well -- we decided to do both with them, as well as an engagement shoot!
Meghan, our main photog, was so easy to work with and made us feel comfortable in the front of the camera, instead of awkward. We kept changing the location of our engagement shoot based on weather, smoke, water levels in the Venice canals, you name it, and she didn't seem to bat an eye (perhaps that was foreshadowing to our ever changing wedding plans!).
The weekend of the wedding, they were so accommodating with everything - came the night before to take photos of the Welcome Party, got great shots throughout the day without being annoying and felt like wedding guests by the end of the night.
The icing on the cake?? Their hotel room was in the same building as our wedding night suite and they threw flower petals all over the entrance for our arrival -- so sweet!
We loved them and absolutely LOVE the final product! Would highly recommend to anyone! -

During the wedding planning process, my fiance and I had met with about 4 other photographers, but after our first meeting with Gary, we knew we found our wedding photographer. We felt confident in booking Gary since he answered all our questions and had a detailed plan of how he envisioned our wedding day timeline, which was EXTREMELY helpful since I did not have a wedding planner.
Fast forward almost a year, COVID-19 hit our wedding hard. We were forced to postpone our wedding. During the postponing, rescheduling, and re-planning process, Gary remained patient, professional, and talked me off a ledge multiple times. He kept telling me it would be okay and we would find a day that worked. Well, we did. We found a date in August, and Gary continued to calm my nerves and made me feel 100% in our photography timelines for the day of the wedding. On the day of the wedding, Gary was perfect. He made me feel at ease in the photos we took, and he made me feel beautiful. All of my wedding party and guests complimented his work ethic.
Dylan and I received our photos last week, and we are absolutely blown away by their beauty. Booking One Story Weddings was the best decision we could have made for our wedding. We feel like Gary is a part of our family after all the phone calls, emails, and texts back in forth. Gary, we love you! -

One Story Weddings were amazing to work with! From the first phone call we had with them, to the very last, they went above and beyond to make us happy. We had a very specific vision of what we wanted our wedding film to capture and how we wanted our story told. They listened to every concern, comment and wish that we had and made sure that we were happy with the outcome. We couldn't love our wedding film more! Best Decision of our entire wedding!
When I met Gary and Chris at a bridal fair, I was still in the beginning stages of wedding planning. We decided to pursue meeting with them after I viewed one of their highlight videos. I became emotional watching this video and I didn't even know the couple featured. I knew I had to have a video like that for our wedding.
When we later met with Gary, he explained to us exactly how a wedding day would usually go, he had a very detailed schedule as to what most weddings looked like, the time it took to capture photos needed, and mentioned a "first look" photo opportunity which I hadn't really heard of. My dear friend had just gotten married and end up regretting her choice in using a photographer that was not quite as experienced to save a few dollars. Experience and quality was the most important for Jeff and I.
After that meeting we knew we wanted to work with Gary and team for photos and videos on our big day.
The day of, his team was on time, professional, and didn't disturb processes I thought they might. They took photos of things I didn't even think about or didn't even thing I wanted until I saw them. They took the time on the photos that needed the time and effort, but got through so many of the others quickly that could have potentially taken too long, delaying the rest of the timeline, yet not compromising on quality. They worked very well with all of the other vendors, all who had nothing but stellar things to say about One Story Weddings.
We got our photos back 5 days ago and we both cannot stop looking through them. They transport us right back to that day. Your wedding day FLIES by, and you have a little post-wedding blues because of that, but One Story captured so many incredible images that we get to relive that day whenever we'd like. Also, unlike many photographers, the package we chose you get to have access to all high resolution digital files. I never thought it would be possible to like every single photo, but I absolutely do, so I am thrilled we get to keep them all!

This review is long over due... and deserves some details!
My husband and I were so blessed to have this amazing crew do our engagement/wedding photos/video.
From the very start, our experience has been a memorable one with One Story Weddings.
Engagement session:
It all started with Gary doing our engagement photos. My husband and I ( My fiancé at the time), won a free engagement session with One Story Weddings. At the time we had no idea who we were going to hire as our Wedding photographer and we were just so excited to take these engagement photos. From Gary announcing the winners on social media, to taking our engagement session, it was a fun and memorable experience! Gary was so communicative and so very helpful. I am very indecisive, so I ask Gary to pick our location to take the engagement photos and I am so glad I let him decide :) I was so nervous to take these photos. I've never had to take professional photos and pose in front of a camera, it was just so awkward for me and for my husband! Lol! All those feeling went away once we met with Gary and started working with him. Gary is the most lovely, funniest, humble and friendliest man. My husband and I were on cloud nine that day. Gary has a very creative technique that will loosen you up and make you laugh for days! We got so many candid shots! My husband and I will always remember this day. Gary truly made us fall in love all over again! My husband and i were astonished, we said to one another, "how did he do that?!" It was magical!
A couple of weeks later, our photos were ready. One Story is so efficient and we couldn't believe how quick we received our engagement photos. We met up with Gary to look over the engagement photos and also we took a peek at One Story Weddings work for weddings. Immediately we knew One Story Weddings is what we are looking for. We had a great connection with Gary and enjoyed working with him and that meant so much to us. One Story Weddings work.... AMAZING!! If we were blown away with engagement photos, we could just imagine what the wedding experience would be like! It didn't take us long to seal the deal and book One Story Weddings for our big special day!
Wedding day ( Sept 2, 2018):
Gary made sure weeks before the wedding to reconnect with us. We discussed the wedding, itinerary, expectations, and most importantly the Timeline, which was emailed to us and detailed. I was so nervous the day before our wedding and it was so nice to speak to Gary on the telephone that day. He truly knows how to calm ones nerves. One Story Weddings accommodated all of our needs. While part of the crew was with me at the hotel, the other half of the crew met with my husband at our place, where he was getting ready. The moment I saw that familiar face of Grays' all my worries went away. I knew everything will be taken care of. One Story Weddings knows what they are doing and there was nothing for me to worry about. I had so much confidence in the crew that I did not have direct them, they took charge and nailed it! One Story Weddings truly made our wedding day that much more special. It was yet, another fun time with Gary and the crew! I practically became a professional posing for the crew! We were so comfortable with them that it felt like they were part of our family. Every single one of the crew from One Story Weddings, Gary, Jake, Ragi, Mark and Traci, were so professional and a pleasure to work! They treated my family as their family and we were all so appreciative of them. My parents will never forget that! If you want stunning pictures and beautiful people to work with, this is the crew! You will not regret it and totally worth the investment. The wedding photos are stunning and breathtaking! We received our highlight video recently and let me tell you...... A masterpiece!!!!! We can't stop watching our video! We were truly blessed to have Gary and One Story Weddings capture our special moments from beginning to end! We seemed to have a different experience than most…
We worked with One Story pretty immediately after we got engaged. I fell in love with the cinematic style of their videos and were very excited to have one of our own. Unfortunately the pandemic hit and our October 2020 wedding turned into an elopement, which they were unable to film. We ended up using them to film our babyshower in October 2021.
Honestly it’s disappointing to read all these reviews about how everyone had such a great experience with Gary, when we didn’t. After we declined to use his photography service (we had already booked someone), his tone shifted.
While we were grateful for the flexibility because of the pandemic affecting our date, when it came to be time to film our babyshower, we didn’t hear from him to confirm until the last minute, and we suspect he actually outsourced someone else to come shoot our event. Even the branding at the end of the video was a completely different company name.
We held our babyshower on our 1 year wedding anniversary, so I had our baker make a small version of our wedding cake. The final clip of the film was so cute, it was us cutting the cake and turning and kissing, it was adorable, right up until a giant company logo was plastered across our face mid-kiss.
I watched MANY of One Story’s videos and not a single other one ends this way. Everyone else has a dainty box with their names written in small font.
Ours said SHORELINE in a bold white box. Who is shoreline?? We didn’t hire, pay or sign with Shoreline. This was supposedly a separate division of their company, but that’s not who we hired!!
We emailed and asked if it was possible to show the (not One Story) company name just a couple seconds later so it’s not covering our faces at such a sweet moment, and we’re told that’s how they do it. “they” being Shoreline, the company we didn’t hire. The aesthetic we did not choose.
It was our understanding that we paid for a video and the rights to it, so why was it branded in such a way? Not one other video on their site has this.
It was supremely disappointing, mainly because it seemed like Gary….didn’t like us?? I believe he didn’t take us as seriously because we ultimately we’re not able to have his company film a wedding, due to use eloping because of the pandemic.
We still would like an ending to our video that is in line with what we signed up for.
I hate to say that I would not recommend this company to another bride.
As someone who has worked in the event industry for 10+ years myself, it’s disappointing not to be able to recommend them.
