One Seventy Main is a distinctive event hall wedding venue located in Buford, Georgia. This facility is a minimal distance away from many options for accommodation, dining, and nightlife. One Seventy Main has maintained its beautiful historic elements. You can enjoy the sunlight streaming through the original stained-glass windows and the dappling shadows on the hardwood floors. The comfortable lounge area offers exposed brick accents while the upstairs balcony enables you to sit and enjoy your charming surroundings. Furthermore, the variety of lighting options that can be accommodated allow an array of differentiated moods and styles. Up to 100 guests can enjoy your wedding at this facility.

Wedding events that can be hosted at this venue include engagement parties, bridal showers, elopements, rehearsal dinners, ceremonies, and receptions. An event booking includes an eight-hour rental period and the provision of banquet chairs, linens, chair covers, and 120-inch round tables. Couples will also encounter the convenient services of an on-site event manager, parking area, get-ready rooms, full-service kitchen, and bar area. The venue staff can advise couples on preferred outside vendors and event planners, as well as catering and bar services. Additional event rentals available include an array of tables, barstools, specialty chairs, audio-visual systems, custom drapery, floral arrangements, centerpieces, and more.

    Excellent place and service

    I truly feel when finding a venue you have to be able to see yourself there. Cyndi and Kyle were amazing!!!!!! I LOVE this venue. And it was my first pick but I had looked for weeks.

Cyndi has 30 years of experience in the event industry, designing and making her clients visions into realities. Her professional consulting and designer instincts reflect her commitment to providing service beyond expectations. In 2002, Cyndi took a leap of faith and created The Main Event Company, a full-service event production company. The Main Event Company was born through what she believes is fate. Failure was not an option. Months were spent researching the industry and researching the competitors. She didn’t want to be like everyone else and was determined to be one step ahead. Her perseverance paid off. Today, The Main Event Company is one of the top Casino/Entertainment companies in Georgia. 96% of our business is repeat clients and referrals. As a full-service Event Production Company, we can provide services from A to Z. With so many years in the event industry and so much success, the next step was a no-brainer. In 2019 she added a new and exciting venture, One Seventy Main, Buford’s historic-yet-brand-new, full-service event venue specializing in Weddings and Corporate Events.

What makes us different? Occasionally, Cyndi will get a phone call from someone asking how they can become an Event Planner or Designer and her answer is always the same. Creativity cannot be taught. It’s either in you or it’s not. She loves what she does and wakes up every morning excited about what lays before her. It’s her passion and it was her fate. She has spent 30 years cultivating relationships with support vendors in the industry and can assure reliability, professionalism, and satisfaction with every special event. Each and every client requires an equal amount of care, creativity, and attention to detail. From ideation to creation to execution, she makes sure her clients expectations are surpassed and she has created an amazing team to bring it all to fruition.

Kyle joined The Main Event Company in 2007 and was initially involved with setting up and breaking down of events. Kyle later became more involved with the company, moving on to being a dealer at our casino nights, then eventually utilizing his many skills in Audio/Visual, Management, and Production. One would say he is a Jack of all Trades and has continuously shown effort to learn and grow with the business. There is very little Kyle can’t do. His expertise includes problem solving, customer relations, and thinking outside the box. He is a Professionally trained DJ/Emcee and loves to entertain at our events. Kyle is a team leader and puts his heart and soul into this business. Now the Venue Manager at One Seventy Main, he oversees the day to day activities for both companies, makes sure all clients expectations are met and that everyone leaves with a smile. Kyle is a true asset to our company and we are blessed to have him on our team.
