When my husband and I first got engaged, I knew literally nothing about weddings except for the handful I had gone to. I did not know remotely where to begin to plan one. Naturally, I tried to do a bunch of googling, which only seemed to intensify all I did not know. I then contacted a handful of planners, all of whom would send me a pamphlet with packages and prices and would also tell me how busy they were. Evan was the only one who called - she actually called me the next day. She walked me through everything, asked a lot of questions about me and my husband, and told me that she would be with me every step the way - and she followed through non that promise. She went to all my venue viewings with me, assured me that everything was my decision when I was getting pressure from vendors I didn’t know, and emphasized the things that were most important to us. Evan was very transparent and straightforward when needed, taking charge when we did not know what to do. She was also very loving and kind, knowing that as much as this was an event, it was also a symbol of a new beginning. She did not make us feel like we were just one of her clients, but more like family.
