Cooper was one of the first vendors we hired and our first thought after getting off the phone with him was — we just want to be friends with this guy!! But on top of his friendly and engaging nature, his professionalism and talent are unmatched. He made the whole process so smooth. His handy planning app made it easy for us to think through the musical show flow of the wedding and save songs as we thought about them throughout the year. We are so thankful for DJ Chase and the entire One Above Entertainment team! Chase made all parts of our wedding so easy and so much fun. He is an excellent MC and did a great job at keeping things on schedule and keepig our guests entertained. We had a meeting shortly before the wedding where we laid out the exact time schedule and picked songs for all of the important events. Chase is great, and we loved talking to him during our planning sessions. We also used their photobooth that was just the icing on the cake of the best party of our lives. Chase was an absolute pleasure to work with. I’m so happy we were able to book him for our wedding. Not only is he the sweetest human being with the kindest hard, but he has a true passion for his craft. He met with me twice. He was the only DJ I spoke with who was great at communication and spoke with me via zoom before we even began the booking process. He makes everything so easy! Our guests absolutely loved him. Cooper Brown is a fantastic DJ and we so enjoyed working with him to DJ for my wedding. He was very attentive and responsive during the planning period. He has an app that helps provide inspiration and suggested songs based on activity such as first dance, cake cutting, etc. He keeps the party going and feeds off the energy in the room. He knew how to get everyone dancing and keep them dancing! Would highly recommend!

My family and I are so happy that we chose DJ Cooper to play at josh and I’s wedding! He went above and beyond of what we expected! Amazing wedding reception! Had the whole party dancing, even the non-dancing party poopers. Easy to talk to, helpful, good at directing and managing the activities and getting people involved. Would highly recommend. Will hire him again for our next event!

Our wedding was small but absolutely perfect and Cooper played a huge part in that! He talked through all the wedding details with us a few times before the event to make sure we were all on the same page. On the day of the wedding, I knew everything would go off without a hitch because of the planning we had done with him. That was super helpful for me because I didn’t have a wedding coordinator! The ceremony went perfectly and the reception was a blast. All of my guests had so much fun and our venue said we had some of the best wedding music they had ever heard. All thanks to Cooper! I would recommend him to anyone having a wedding or large event because he is the best!

From my first conversation with Cooper until follow up after the wedding, I was constantly impressed with One Above Entertainment. Cooper called me maybe 30 minutes after first sending a message about availability and helped get me set up with one of their DJs Austin. We were able to go through the plans for the day, the ceremony, and what our expectations were for the wedding. Aside from making sure all the details were solidified, we always felt like their top priority was to make sure we were happy and to help with our vision for our wedding day. Our booking with One Above was extremely last minute (2 weeks) but they worked to get all of the details quickly so that we were all set up by the wedding day. Additionally there was an unexpected situation for our original DJ Austin, but we were instantly set up with another DJ, Dev who was just as personable as Austin and Cooper.

I do not exaggerate when I say that Dev was spectacular on the day of the wedding, I literally could not have asked for a better DJ. The flow and timing of the music was perfect, and he was very skilled at reading the mood and choosing great songs to keep the flow going. He was patient with all requests and last minute changes and even double checked with me when I okayed a few of our "do not play" songs. After the wedding I had so many people tell me that the wedding was one of the most fun that they had been to, and I firmly believe it was mostly in thanks to DJ Dev.

If you have a chance to book One Above Entertainment, do not hesitate to book them; I have a hard time believing that you would find anyone better. It was the best decision we made for our wedding day.

We were planning on having a small family dinner to celebrate our wedding, but someone suggested I hire an MC to bring some life into the evening. There was some skepticism about why we'd hire a MC/DJ at such a small event. In the end, everyone involved in the planning agreed it was one of the best decisions we made for our special day. I can't count how many people have told us it was the best wedding they've ever been to!

The evening flowed and was on time. Cooper was funny. He made people feel comfortable. He helped facilitate a "Newylwed" game which everyone loved. We threw a few last minute revisions into the evening, and he just rolled with it! Everything was so organized, and he kept us smiling all night!

Because of social distancing and our small guest list, we didn't originally plan on having a dance party, but Cooper encouraged us to give people the option to dance. It worked out wonderfully! People spaced themselves out on the dance floor according to their comfort level and we all had such a great time! Slow dancing with my husband and dad.. and then going nuts with my siblings and girl friends will forever be a highlight of the wedding day!
