When we picked up my wedding ring and I first saw it, I burst into tears. It was more lovely than I'd even expected. John is the type of old-fashioned, caring, craftsman you rarely encounter these days. The kind you hug (as I did) before you hand over your credit card! But he is not at all over-priced, and the work is pure quality. They do custom designs as well. All of my husband's coworkers had gone there, and now we know why. Later I ran into an old friend who does diamond appraisals. She got out her loop and examined my rings while I held my breath. "Wow!" she exclaimed! "You do have a great jeweler! My husband found John when looking for the engagement ring through a referral. He let my husband design exactly what he wanted � something different! I did not want the typical bling-ed out diamond. The end result is stunning! So for our wedding rings there was really no other option; we had to go back to John! This time he let me design what I wanted � a confetti sprinkle of smaller diamonds around a white gold band. Then we had the idea to leave the band thick enough to put birthstones of our children underneath. We started with the one who was in utero at the time � a sapphire! John ended up giving us that stone for free, as a wedding gift! What an amazing guy. Highly recommend this family run operation.
