I was introduced to Olympia by a friend who knew I wasn’t happy with my current wedding planner. The original planner unfortunately, just didn’t get my vision. I wanted natural, bohemian, ethereal vibes, enhancing the natural beauty of the venue we had picked for our big day. From what I had heard of Olympia, she was my kind of girl, someone who I would truly get a long with as a friend and mostly someone who had exactly the same taste and style as me! A month before our wedding day.. I took a leap of faith and hired Olympia (before I had even met her in person!!)

We were a little apprehensive when heading down to Alemagou (our venue) to finally meet Olympia. With a couple of weeks to spare before the big day, I was hoping and praying that the universe was finally sending me this person that would deliver all my hopes and dreams for the most important day of my life! We sat down and had a drink. Next minute, Olympia walks through the door, wearing a maxi dress that I immediately want to buy, big sunglasses and a turban on her head. She was basically me in Greek form! 🤣. I knew just then that I was going to love this girl.

We spoke for an hour or so about our plans and our visions, but I didn’t really need to say much because Olympia just KNEW what I / we wanted. It was like she jumped in to my brain, picked out all the ideas I had and presented them to me on a plate! Overnight the wedding planning process had gone from being stressful and a little disheartening, to MEGA exciting and beautiful. The girl I have to thank for that is my wonderful Olympia.

Not only is she an absolute pleasure to spend time with, but Olympia is the most hard working person I know. This girl would have trekked to the end of the world for us, if there she could find something to make Steve and I happy. Here’s an example of how hard Olympia works; We wanted little wedding favours on our tables so that our guests had something to take home with them and remind them of our big day. We wanted little dream catchers, as dream catchers were a big theme throughout our wedding. We needed 100 of them, and I thought this would be a big ask of Olympia to find a supplier that would have 100 available, and within our tight budget we had allocated to this. Olympia and her best friend Vasilis (who would later save the day and become our non religious celebrant for the wedding after the one we had arranged, cancelled!!) stayed up until 5am every night for about a week before the wedding MAKING US 100 dream catchers. They made them. When I receieved a picture of the two of them, up at a crazy hour, tired and clearly delirious.. I asked her what they were doing. When she told me that they had been up all week making these dream catchers for us, I honestly cried. To say that she went over and above to make our dreams come true is an absolute understatement.

When the wedding day came I felt absolutely at ease, knowing that everything we had discussed with Olympia over the last few weeks would come to a reality, and we would have the most perfect day. She of course, had been at the venue until about 3am the day before the wedding and then got back down to the beach for about 7am on the wedding day, to make sure everything was going perfectly.

When I arrived at the beach, ready to marry my dream man I honestly could not believe my eyes. I had stepped in to a dream and that was all down to Olympia. Everything was perfect. Beyond perfect. Unimaginable to be honest! The day surpassed every expectation I had. The ceremony decorations, the venue decorations, the dream catchers, the flowers, the added extras like teepee tents where friends and family could take poloroid pictures and write well wishes in our wedding book, the aerial decoration, the name places, VASILIS and his most beautiful emotional and heart felt ceremony he delivered. Every single element of the wedding was out of this world. Thanks to you, Olympia darling!

Not only did we have the best day of our life, but we have a friend for life now to!

It feels like fate that we were recommended Olympia by another couple we met at a chance encounter in Mykonos. We had nothing to go on except a glowing review from the bride, and were so blown away by the praise, we booked her straight away! We had been looking for the perfect planner for a long time and so had already organised much of the larger details ourselves. In a first conversation we showed her all of our ideas and plans so far and it felt like a weight was lifted! Olympia totally understood our vision and after a week or so came back with a gorgeous proposal for the wedding day. Ourbudget was modest compared to many Mykonos weddings, and we did not feel judged for this. She reassured us that we could create something beautiful at any cost. Once in Mykonos, Olympia was our hero. She knew everyone, negotiated the best deals, and took care of us completely. Along with her team she made the whole process as smooth and enjoyable as possible, helping us create a week of special events and a wedding day which friends and family are still raving about almost 8 months later. She is incredibly creative, and surprised us with many thoughtful details. If you are looking for a wedding or party planner who really cares about people, and puts the couples best interest first, Olympia is the one for you. She understands each couple to their core and fills the process of creating their special day with love and laughter.
