We first contacted Rena via wedding wire. We were looking for a wedding planner to help us bring our dreams into reality for a early summer wedding in Paros, Greece. At the time all of the vendors we contacted told us we would need to double or triple our budgets to pull off this event. During our first meeting with Rena she not only told us our budget was adequate, but she also had a network of vendors local to Paros that would help us reduce our overall costs. We asked for references before signing on with Rena and she was happy to oblige. We instantly hit it off, she is so passionate about the work she does and she truly contacts with her clients to make each event special and unique.
All of our communications were done via email, what’s app and through zoom meetings. We live in New York State and planned our entire event sight unseen. Throughout the process Rena would inform us of what critical decisions needed to be made and in what order. She presented us with options and coordinated contact with vendors for one on one meetings. If we were not satisfied with the options she would bring forward more until we found exactly what we wanted. She always had our back during these discussions and in pricing negotiations. She suggested things we did not think of and tried to get us the highest impact for the price paid.
Planning a wedding is difficult and stressful but Rena was always there to calm our concerns and ease the stress. She would always tell us don’t worry it will all be fine. When my mother fell ill shortly before our departure to Greece Rena made it a priority to check on her before and during our time in Paros. We put all of our trust into Rena and her team, and they did not disappoint. In total Rena helped us coordinate a wedding weekend experience for us and our guests, including: our 5 day villa accommodations, welcome dinner, rehearsal dinner, wedding and reception, and a day after private boat ride.
On our wedding day we experienced nothing but the highest levels of perfection. I wouldn’t even know if something went wrong because the team behind Rena coordinated and executed our dream wedding. We saw all of our decisions come to life and the day was effortless and carefree for my husband and I. Exactly what we would want to truly enjoy our special day. There are not enough good things to be said about the skills of Rena and her team. Rena can manage multiple weddings in a single week and weekend and at every point she makes you feel like your wedding is her top priority. She was always responsive in her communications and never left us wondering what the status of our planning was.
