We hired Olive & Rose Events for month-of coordination for our November 2024 wedding. We had planned most of the wedding ourselves and were just looking for someone to be the main point of contact on the day of the wedding and make sure everything ran smoothly and according to plan. Kim was that and so much more! Kim has so much experience with weddings and knows what questions to ask or what details may be overlooked. She coordinated donation of our florals and set up final meetings with all of our vendors to ensure we were all on the same page prior to the wedding day. She put together a detailed timeline so everyone involved knew where to be and when. Our day went so smoothly in large part to Kim and her team. We were able to relax and enjoy our wedding day with confidence in Kim and her team to make decisions and execute all of our planning. Kim is also so friendly and easy to work with. Kim and Olive & Rose literally made our dream wedding become a reality! We interviewed a few wedding planners and immediately knew after speaking with Kim we had to have her as our “month of coordinator”. Kim met with us in-person and virtually for months before to make sure we were on track and didn’t miss a single thing! She was able to give us vendor recommendations, has fabulous taste and experience which gave us valuable opinions in the endless decisions wedding planning includes, and truly made the planning process so enjoyable. Our wedding day couldn’t have gone any better. When my husband and I got engaged the first vendor we looked for was a planner. We wanted someone who we could trust with our wants/needs, match us the vendors who matched our personality, and handled everything with care. And we got that with Kim! Kim (Olive and Rose) is a stud in the wedding planning and coordinating scene of Pittsburgh. She was exactly what we needed to ensure our wedding vision was carried out and executed. Her personality was always helpful and positive and we (bride and groom) were in sync with her from the beginning. We were very budget conscious and enjoyed planning our special day, but it takes a weight off your shoulders to have a point person for the day of your wedding. Kim worked with us starting about 6 weeks before the wedding day, and helped us stay organized and on top of everything along the way. She made recommendations when asked and her input elevated the decoration and coordination of the day to the next level. She participates on calls and is the backup and "muscle" in tough conversations. Her expertise with contracts and wedding details makes her irreplaceable. She's worth twice her fee, so grab her while she has availability. Her organization skills will make any day go off without a hitch and is the perfect antidote to any bridezilla/groomzilla :-)

I hired Olive & Rose for month-of coordination for my August 2022 wedding, and I could not be more thankful that I did! I worked with Susy, and she started working with me about 6 weeks before my wedding, right as I was starting to burn out on wedding planning. She pulled together a meticulous timeline, contacted every vendor and finalized any last minute details that were stressing me out, and provided essential encouragement in those final weeks. Susy is an amazing, genuine, sweet, and talented coordinator, and I was so grateful to be able to work with her. Unfortunately she got sick the week of my wedding and was no longer able to work the day of, but she SEAMLESSLY passed the baton to Shelby, who was absolutely incredible and managed our wedding rehearsal and wedding day with absolute perfection. The whole experience made me so glad that I had hired a coordinator from such a professional, established company, because I didn't have a single concern when Susy got sick that I would be left in the dark. Shelby stepped in and knew exactly what I needed, and on the wedding day my whole bridal party was so impressed with her - they were shocked that we hadn't been working with her for my whole engagement! I highly recommend Olive & Rose - they are simply the best!!!

I worked with Kim from Olive and Rose Events for our Pop Up wedding on Valentine's day this year. We had a WONDERFUL experience. I had never heard of a pop-up wedding before and after discussing with Kim, we could not pass up this opportunity. She arranged a package of some amazing vendors at Museum Lab, which included a cake by Mediterra Bakery, florals by Blue Daisy, photography by Talia Nelson, our officiant Mark DeNuzzio from A Simple Vow, live stream from Rodger Obley, and bar service for a very affordable cost. The best part is that there was very little planning and stress on my end and I got to get married sooner! Kim is very professional, quick to respond, helpful, and overall we had an amazing experience. My husband and I had always wanted a small intimate ceremony and I could not have dreamed of a better one. Even though we had about a month to plan it, Kim kept us on track and arranged meetings with vendors to ensure the day went smoothly. If I had to do it all over again, I would choose this Pop-Up wedding every single time! It was truly a pleasure to work with her and be the first Perfectly Paired couple!

I have to give so many props to my day of coordinator Kim Allera from Olive & Rose Events, although let’s be honest, she was way more than just a “day of” coordinator as she was by my side to help during all of the changes and updates and craziness throughout the process. of planning a wedding during 2020. Her attention to detail, positive and professional attitude, and humor makes her a joy to wok with. She makes the stressful times fun and always has amazing suggestions and creative ideas and solutions! Kim was amazing!! from start to finish she helped us plan our surprise wedding and coordinated our entire day! Our son was even sick and being a mom herself she helped with him throughout the day too! I am used to taking the lead and making sure everything is handled myself, but I really wanted to enjoy my wedding day and Kim totally allowed me to do that.
