Old Meeting House is a wedding venue located in Francestown, New Hampshire. This beautifully restored historic building is one of the area’s oldest and most prominent buildings and brings a classic elegance to any wedding ceremony.

Old Meeting House can accommodate up to 250 guests and provides unobstructed views with a floor that slopes to the altar. History

In 1775, the town raised a rough frame for the original meeting house. The challenges brought on by the Revolutionary War stopped construction temporarily. In 1787, the town voted to finish constructing the building, but eight years later, the article to enlarge the structure was voted down. After the town voted to build a new meeting house in 1800, construction was finally completed in 1803. Today’s Old Meeting House has been renovated several times, and it was placed on the National Register of Historic Places in 1999. From its start as a place of worship, the venue has provided an ideal setting for couples to say “I do,” with many couples returning years later for recommitment ceremonies.
