Windswept Venue

We had always pictured our wedding as a romantic, country-style celebration surrounded by the people we love most. Finding a venue that fit that vision, our timeline, and our budget felt almost impossible. Many of the places we considered were booked years in advance or came with a price tag far beyond what we had planned. Then we found Windswept Venue—and fell in love immediately.

The venue truly checked every box for us. There was so much space that we were able to create three completely different settings throughout the day: the ceremony took place across the road in a beautifully manicured field, the reception continued under a gorgeous tent, and we ended the evening inside the charming barn. Even with fun additions like the Ben & Jerry’s truck and a mobile bar, everything felt comfortable and never overcrowded.

One of our favorite parts of Windswept was the scenery. Everywhere we turned, there seemed to be another beautiful spot for photos. The property offered such a wonderful variety of landscapes, colors, and quiet little spaces, which gave us so many options for capturing the day in a way that felt personal and natural.

John was also wonderful to work with from start to finish. He was incredibly responsive, organized, and genuinely listened to what we envisioned for our wedding. He offered thoughtful suggestions when we needed guidance, especially when it came to arranging the tent, food, vendors, and overall flow of the day. His experience made the planning process feel much easier, and we always felt that our ideas and priorities were respected.

The farmhouse was another highlight. It gave me, along with our family and friends, the perfect place to get ready and spend time together before the ceremony. There were plenty of rooms for anyone who wanted a little privacy, as well as a spacious kitchen and den where everyone could gather. It was comfortable, beautifully lit for getting-ready photos, and—especially important for a summer wedding—wonderfully cool.

Windswept Venue gave us the storybook country wedding we had always imagined, and somehow made it even better than we had pictured. From the scenery and flexibility of the property to the care and support we received throughout the process, we couldn't have asked for a more perfect setting for such an important day. We would recommend Windswept Venue without hesitation to any couple looking for a beautiful, welcoming, and truly special place to celebrate their wedding.

The location is beautiful! It was perfect for the birthday party. The guests all remarked about how nice the barn was; the views; etc. The owners were very helpful in finding everything we needed (tent, caterer, etc.). I can't say enough about how great this venue is!
