She was great, friendly and polite and knew when to step in and facilitate and when to step back. The experience felt unpressured, unrushed. Very respectful language chosen for the ceremony. She was a great photographer and we had so much fun. 10/10. Would get married again!

Carmen George was an absolute gem and a vital part of our wedding day! Not only did she officiate our ceremony as Justice of the Peace, but she also created the most stunning floral arrangements that perfectly complemented our colors and the season.

In the months leading up to the wedding, Carmen took the time to have several calls with us, offering thoughtful guidance on everything from flowers for our arbor and bouquet to corsages and boutonnieres. Carmen is so easy to get along with, made us feel at ease and was very prepared. We reached out only a few days in advance and she made it happen, explained the process clearly, and even made time to discuss our wants/needs before hand. Day of was perfect, she had great recommendations on locations on her site and we honestly could not have asked for a more perfect experience thanks to her. If you are looking for someone in the Burlington area, she absolutely the right choice.

We chose Carmen to officiate at our wedding based on her rave reviews, and she deserves every one of them! Carmen took time with me initially to discuss the day in general, and then with the two of us to run through the details as the day approached. We drove up from out of state, and she knew Vermont’s process and answered every nervous email I sent within minutes. And she was always so kind, and calming, and happy for us.

We chose the elopement package, and I truly could not have asked for a more perfect wedding. My husband recorded it with his phone, and I tear up every time I listen to the beautiful things she said. The bouquet she made is gorgeous. I opted for silk flowers, because I asked for peonies and we got married in March, and it’s so lovely. After the ceremony, she took lots of pictures in different areas of the chapel and outside. I felt so at ease, and while I’m usually not happy with the way I look in photos, I cannot believe how much I love them!

I married the man I love with all of my heart, so it would have been a wonderful day regardless. But it was absolutely perfect, and we owe most of it to Carmen. She was made for this. Thank you so much for everything!

Carmen George was recommended to me by the hotel of Vermont as a photographer for my proposal. After filling out an inquiry on her website she quickly responded back. She worked with me on a few ideas i had for the proposal location and plan. Right away I could tell she was a professional. Not only that but she has a genuine desire for this moment to go flawlessly for us. She even went to the proposal location 4 weeks in advance to scope it out. This included asking two people to do a mock proposal at the location so i could get an idea of what it would look like. (It was a beautiful shot and location). As we got closer to the date Carmen offered to cancel her plans the day after incase we got rain on the day of the planned proposal! Luckily we didn’t have to do this. Finally, as i walked to our spot with my special someone for the big question i thought she didn’t show up since she was no where to be found. I knew i had to continue with the proposal even so. Shortly after saying my speach and getting down in one knee she appeared from the bushes in a nice camouflage dress.
