Sam and his trio have been performing at our organization's holiday celebration every year for the past five years. Our congregants (young and old and everyone in between) have been perfectly delighted with their lively and upbeat music. In fact, they (literally) have us dancing in the streets! Though the performance mostly takes place inside, we do at some point wander outside and - yes - dance in the streets. This Klezmer trio is magnificent; the musicians put their heart and soul into their playing, which in turn inspires us. We have found Sam to be responsive, punctual, cheerful and professional, which is why we ask them to return year after year. This band is a winner.

We worked with Sam and Of An Oak Music to create a weekend-long musical program at our synagogue in Madison, CT. Friday night included an educational and engaging program during our Shabbat services. Saturday night the band put together a wonderful concert. Perhaps best of all was Sunday morning, when the group skillfully taught music to our kids and even incorporated our pre-teen instrumentalists into the band for a song. I was incredibly impressed with the quality of each of the programs during the weekend, and would highly recommend the Klezwoods and Of An Oak Music.

In May 2015 I contracted An Oak Music for a 6,000 person "Welcome Reception" during a conference in Boston and I was blown away. Even with such a large crowd, the group never failed to grasp the attention of all attendees and the gentlemen were very professional and receptive to each request my team had. They went from being positioned on stage, to marching through the crowd and interacting with other live entertainment within the event. The performance was unforgettable, the energy never died and my client was SO impressed. Of An Oak Music was an irreplaceable addition to this event and I cannot wait to work with them again for future events!

We booked the Aldous Collins Band for a big, 275 person gala that was held on a Saturday night. They were awesome!! We had a mixed crowd, from age 21 to 83 and they were a big hit; Aldous was in the crowd, getting people up and dancing, the brass was an impressive touch with great sound and we had guests commenting on how good they were, both on the night and after the fact.

They were also very professional, friendly and low maintenance and worked well with us in what was a challenging venue with poor acoustics. I definitely plan to book them again and highly recommend them to any one else running an event who is looking to book a band that offers something a bit special.

Our community had a summer Mardi Gras party and parade. We hired Of an Oak Music's quartet to lead the parade and perform during the party!! They really set the tone for the parade and the party!! They got the community involved by walking around as they played. They were very talented and personable. I notice neighbors asking for their business cards!

When Temple Sinai of Sharon welcomed Klezwoods to our synagogue, the audience enjoyed an afternoon of great music, song and fun. Not only is Klezwoods made up of incredibly talented musicians but they are performers who bring imagination and personality to the stage. From traditional to creative, Klezwoods performs a wider range of Klezmer music and they hit every note!

My wife and I are from the former Soviet Union. Although we had a none-denominational wedding, we also wanted to add aspects of our Eastern European Jewish heritage. The band played our traditional dances and an array of complimentary music that had our guests on their feet the entire evening. During the DJ portion, Sam played a variety of music that appealed to all of our American and Russian-speaking friends and family. Although we did not ask them to do this, the band learned our first dance and played it live for us. Overall, the music was great and we would definitely recommend the band to our friends and family!

Sam and his team made our ceremony and cocktail reception absolutely magical. They are personable, friendly and truly talented musicians. Thank you guys!!
