Very good!

Everybody was super nice and helpful.
Because it was an outside wedding amd it was raining we needed to change plans and reorganize everything in the last minute. I was hoping the rain will stop so the stuff waited till the last minute and were extremely nice. I would like to meantion Hassan's name who was extremely helpful and patient with me.

Amazing and will return for future vacation

Our day was amazing and Monica worked with us for every change we experienced along the way. The food was great. We chose salmon and chicken picatta and our guests loved the food. It was delicious. For dessert we used Steve from Sweeter Days Bake Shop and did a cupcake tier with small cake to cut on top. The cupcakes were amazing. We had 19 people and everything was beautiful thanks to Brittany Madon the wedding planner through Florida Beach Weddings who did the planning. It was exactly what we wanted.....small and intimate. The hotel is a perfect location too and just 10 min walk from fort Lauderdale by the sea where many fun bars and great restaurants are. If you are looking for a place where your guests can have endless fun this is the place. THE BEST LOCATION!!! Walking distance to a Starbucks too (I was so happy about this) It's right on the water and a close walk to night life that's not too crazy but far from boring lol. It was so much fun.

We started planning our wedding a year out. And from the very first meeting, I was ready to sign on the dotted line with Ocean Sky Hotel and Resort. The primary reason was Marysol Benning. She was organized, engaging and understood how important this day was to me and my soon-to-be husband. We were able to speak with her not as a manager of sales but as a person, who was interested in making our wedding experience shine through with our vision. I also want to give special thanks to Laura Estrada who supported me through every question. And Jessica who sat in on a few of our final meets. I almost forgot Hassan, the logistics professional....ensuring set up and all day-to-day activities of our special day ran smoothly. I have nothing but great things to say about Ocean Sky and the staff there! Marysol Benning and Laura Estrada were great to work with while planning the destination wedding of my best friend. We weren't the largest group in-house with only 15 guests in attendance for the wedding but the staff made us feel like we were the only people in the hotel. Pick Ocean Sky and I promise you won't be disappointed!

Definitely pick this hotel. It is right on the beach and the hotel itself is beautiful! The coordinators, Laura and Marysol were always available to answer my wedding questions and they worked with my coordinator to make our wedding day special.
i would definitely stay at Ocean Sky again!!

My wedding was a destination wedding as we live I Colorado. They made planning a wedding easy and stress free. They catered to our needs and were so helpful from the tour to the end of our wedding night. I wouldn't have changed anything.

I found the hotel myself while searching for venues for our wedding. I thought it was perfect for the energy I was looking for. A lot of hotels are too flashy and touristy in Florida so when I found this I fell in love. They concentrate on one wedding at a time and the food was delicious. If you want a beach wedding without the sand this venue is the perfect place. They are literally in the beach, if you were to step off their pool terrace you will be stepping on the sands of the beach. The ceremony was on their pool terrace, I had all the perks of a beach wedding and a traditional wedding all in one. It was perfect.

Be POSITIVE of your number of guests...don't OVERestimate at time you sign the contract!.. If you have less guests than your contract states, too bad. They'll cook ALL THE FOOD FOR YOUR ORIGINAL NUMBER OF GUESTS, and give you the food from absent guests to take home as leftovers. Didn't make sense to us, not from a business standpoint..but somehow it was what HAD TO BE DONE, according to the manager. That was nice, but we would have liked to accommodate the guests who did come with that money towards SOMETHING, ANYTHING at the reception .. But, no, ZERO FLEXIBILITY from the Manager.
The service was great, the location was PERFECT. The guests had a wonderful time.
Marysol was fantastic to work with. Professional, sweet, always timely replies and very helpful.,

Ocean Sky Resort is a lovely one-stop property directly on the sand in Ft Lauderdale with plenty of amenities for guests, a large ground-level ballroom and a ceremony area directly over-looking the sand. The old saying is true...Location, Location, Location! Minutes from everything. The event staff is extremely helpful and considerate to their event clientele.

The Ocean Sky Hotel & Resort is located right on the beach in Fort Lauderdale, which is a beautiful location for any wedding ceremony, meet and greet, or reception. Couples can get married on the private beach, the large deck overlooking the ocean, or in one of the indoor ballrooms. At each area and any time of the year, couples will have spectacular wedding photographs and their guests will have great beach and city views and wonderful weather with sea breezes. Laura and her team are great to work with, and they are very attentive to the couple's needs during the wedding and their stay at the resort. If you would like to get married in paradise, you should consider this venue. I personally love DJing at the Ocean Sky, and since I live next door, I have a 30-second commute to work.
