We decided to go with a pie bar for our wedding (forgoing the traditional cake), so we needed to find a vendor who had variety that was all-around delicious. After sampling (unfortunately for us/fortunately for our friends we had to buy whole pies) their flavors, we decided to order 20 pies for our wedding. The pecan was AMAZING!!!!!! The cherry, blueberry, and dutch apple were also delicious, and several of our guests tried them all and then went back for seconds. While the pies themselves, delivered for a bakery in San Mateo, seemed pricey, they actually worked out to be less per slice than a traditional decorated cake would have been. Not to mention, they came in individual boxes so sending people home with the leftovers was easy!

Nugget hadn't ever done a stacked wedding cake before and wasn't sure that they wanted to do it. However they decided it would be best for them to stack and freeze it themselves instead of having me stack it at home. They did a wonderful job. I am always so happy with their bakery and the cake was beyond beautiful. They went far above what they were paid for! I paid $35 for a 6 inch and an 8 inch round, stacked, and it was very very delicious and served all 40 of my guests. I am always happy with Nugget Markets! The bakery also did a small dessert buffet and bread for the dinner.
