Before I began planning my wedding, I wasn’t sure I needed a day-of coordinator. Man, was I mistaken! Bo & Stormie are lifesavers. I’m lucky that my mom was friends with Bo & connected us with them. They helped me fill in the blanks of planning & making a day-of timeline, with frequent emails and a couple of phone calls. I had no idea how much detail went into every minute of a wedding day. They brought me & my husband appetizers when we were catching our breath before dinner, and made sure that every vendor & member of the wedding party was on track & hydrated. Everything ended up going spectacularly, in no small part thanks to their help.

Stormie and Bo could not have been easier to work with throughout the whole wedding planning process and we were so pleased with the way everything came together! We had our wedding reception on a relatively empty plot of land and they transformed the space into something truly magical. We had several guests come up to us and say it was the coolest wedding they had ever been to, and Nomadic Notions had a lot to do with that. Highly recommend!

We hired Bo and Stormie for both partial wedding planning and day of coordination. They were nice and charming throughout the planning process so we overlooked our many issues which was a huge mistake on our end. We had a DIY wedding which they assured us they would run smoothly but in hindsight, were not up for the task by any means. On a positive note, their rentals are lovely and they have a great selection of inventory. Unfortunately we ended up having to handle almost all of the planning aspects that were listed in their contract. They were not able to handle our hotel block, shuttles, scheduling vendors arrival and never looked at a vendor contract. We found almost all of our vendors on our own. They did not create our timeline or set up list. We did this ourselves. They also forgot about a meeting we had scheduled that we drove from LA to Joshua Tree for. We left town without having met with them. They let us rent two chairs for free to make up for this so again, we let it go. We shouldn’t have.

On the day of the wedding, there was very bad wind which affected all aspects of the wedding. Instead of handling this with grace like all of our other vendors did, Bo and Stormie were unhelpful and created a chaotic environment. They did not keep us calm. They were rude to our friends and family. They also seemed unprepared although we sent them detailed documents weeks in advanced. Stormie even snapped at me, the bride, right before I walked down the aisle. We got complaints about them from vendors as well. We were extremely unsatisfied with their services and tried to discuss this with them privately in hopes of coming to some sort of amicable solution to our dissatisfaction. Instead, they were rude and defensive causing us endless stress. I have literally never written a negative review for anything in my life. I feel morally obligated to say that I do not recommend them for any planning or coordination and say this all in hopes that no other brides or grooms have to go through what we’ve been through.
