Planks and Patina came highly recommended by our wedding planner, Courtney of After the Engagement. We knew we wanted a swanky lounge to match our vibe at Frank Sinatra's Twin Palms Estate, and John put together a beautiful vignette for us. We were absolutely thrilled with the backdrop for our ceremony as well! It was all so beautiful.

Planks & Patina rentals were absolutely fantastic, the rentals were dreamy and the furniture was fantastic - everything was incredibly high quality, fit our mood/theme perfectly, and the guests loved it. The Planks & Patina team was incredibly easy to work with and we really enjoyed partnering with them, and also appreciated their flexibility as we had to change our wedding date multiple times. Can't recommend enough!

We worked with Planks and Patina for our son's wedding reception at an Airbnb in Yucca Valley. From start to finish, John was responsive, added and deleted items upon our request, and delivered the rentals in a timely manner, and worked tirelessly setting everything up. All the rentals were exceptionally beautiful and well crafted. Without question or hesitation, I will rent from them again. I attached a picture below, but it does not do it justice. Everything was beautiful!

The Planks and Patina crew were responsive, professional, and easy to work with! They offer unique good quality pieces at reasonable prices and I'm so happy with how everything turned out. We used 2 lounge sets, a few rugs, 2 tables for the desserts and sweetheart table, and 150 chairs for our guests. I'd work with them again in a heartbeat.

When we decided to get married at a fabulous mid-century modern venue in Desert Hot Springs, I knew we'd need special chairs that matched. Planks & Patina was the source for the beautiful design of our ceremony and reception. Plus they were fairly priced and responsive! Huge fans.

John from Planks and Patina’s was everything my now husband and I could have wanted from communication, quality, professionalism and timeliness with a vendor. We were stuck in the very unlucky scenario of having to replan my wedding 7 weeks in advance due to some unfortunate events. I was lost, stressed, scrambling trying to figure out what next. I need a venue, a caterer, rentals, etc. And I have less than 2 months to replan a wedding I had been envisioning and planning for the last 10 months.

Luckily our wedding planner (Trish from The Walk Down the Aisle) had a great relationship already formed with John and reached out to him. Our original email to John went something like this: “We need chairs and dinner tables for 110 guests”. He immediately replied, sent us options of what he had still left on inventory, sent us a quote and was able to work in our timeline for drop off and pick up. Then, our second email went something like this: “Just kidding, now we need this many chairs, we don’t need dinner tables.” Again, there was John, patient as ever with our changes and sent us new options and another quote. Then about a week before the wedding another email… “Soooo… now we want a lounge area, is that possible?” John was right there, to give us options, work within our budget with what he had available and didn’t stress or worry us for a second.

The rentals were perfect. They were all in great condition and our guests loved the vibe we were able to create thanks to Planks and Patinas. John was communicative, helpful, professional and both patient and understanding with every single change and request we threw his direction. I would recommend John and Planks and Patinas to any individual that is looking for rentals in the Palm Springs area!

John was amazing to work with. We were an out of town wedidng and he made time to meet with us in CA (early morning) to walk us through some inventory. We was super responsive and worked with us leading up days before our wedding.

The type of style can be: bohemian, modern, or rustic pending how you mix and match. We went with these great wooden tables with black legs (which as first I was hesitant about) but really made our day super special. All the furniture looked seamless at the property and the delivery to pick-up was on point. We didn't even have to worry or converse about anything the week of the wedding because the team was prepared. Would highly recommend Planks and Patina for any CA weddings!

Once we saw Planks and Patina's items we just had to have them for our wedding. John was pleasant to work with and we're so glad we booked them right away. We wish we had space at our venue to use more of his items, specifically the beautiful lounge set. One of our venue's owners even wanted to keep the beautiful cooper top bar. I would without question recommend Planks and Patina to everyone.

I am so happy I chose tables and chairs from P&P for my wedding/reception. The owner John was easy to work with. I loved how great it all looked in our event space. The items are made with reclaimed wood, but feel sturdy.
