From start to finish NOLA Vieux photography was thoughtful, artist, and professional. Mr. Ellisworth presented us with a beautifully curated wedding album, his attention to detail was flawless.

My husband & I were planning a destination wedding in Nola and only had one weekend to check out venues, meet with our priest & do our pre-cana class.

We asked a friend of ours who lives in Nola part time to recommend a photographer-- she sent us to Cedric of Nola Vieux. We were not able to physically meet him prior to the wedding (based on us being out of town). On the day of the wedding he came into our lives like we were always family. He has a wonderfully calm spirit-- especially amid the chaos of a bride & her girls getting ready.

Prior to the day, the communication was superb. Not only was he open to any adventure we cooked up, he was a wealth of Nola knowledge and willing to share. He referred my husband to a second line band and helped keep that second line a surprise from me until after our vows (BEST experience ever!).

Prior to the day, I loved that his portfolio included live concert venues-- we planned a completely walkable wedding through multiple spots in the French Quarter (including the surprise second line parade!) and he captured it all.
Generally, I'm not a huge fan of "staged" photos, I've got the beauty that moves! He caught our wonderfully candid moments of the day and also gave us some great tips for how to stand during our ceremony to get nice shots.

With all that said-- you should hire him! But wait-- there's more! Included in our package was a beautiful thumb drive of all of our pictures! Plus, our gorgeous wedding album! We literally got teary eyed when it arrived.
