Nimbus Independent is a highly-skilled wedding videography service based in Mount Hood Parkdale, Oregon. This elite team of creatives originally discovered their talent for capturing film when attempting to document their love of winter sports in 2007. Over the next 10 years, this collection of cinematographers enhanced their skillset through travel and new experiences, realizing that their eye-catching brand of videography was ideally suited to the emotion and story that surrounds every wedding day.

Services Offered

Nimbus Independent aims to use their unique style and skills to capture the authenticity of each wedding event they shoot, providing couples with a high-quality, cinematic portrayal of their special day. This videography service treats each wedding film as a work of art, striving to accentuate the aesthetic of the day through their lens. Nimbus Independent is happy to shoot on multiple locations with multiple cameras and provide additional hours if needed. Drone footage can also be captured to include an aerial view of your celebration. Your final footage can be delivered as a highlight video or full feature film and your final film will be made available via digital download.

Better than we could have imagined!

Hiring Nimbus Independent to film our wedding was one of the best decisions we made for our big day. Zach and Eric were incredibly kind, thoughtful, professional, and most importantly FUN throughout the entire process. Communication with Zach leading up to our wedding day was flawless which made for a stress-free planning process. On the day of Zach and Eric were right on time and we didn't have to worry about a thing. They knew exactly where to be and when and they were incredibly detail oriented. They captured parts of our day that we never would have thought of and we couldn't be happier with how our films turned out. We are so happy to have these films to look back on our wedding day forever. In addition to their incredible work, these guys are just fun to be around. It felt like they were a part of our wedding crew and fit in seamlessly throughout the day. We can't recommend Nimbus Independent enough.

Book them!

There are no words to describe the incredible talent of Nimbus Independent ! I've heard a lot of people say that a videographer might not be worth it but I couldn't disagree more if you book them. We watch our video on a regular basis and even friends of friends have commented on how beautifully they captured our wedding day. Every second of our film was done with such intent, it felt like they have somehow known us from the beginning of our love story. I cannot say enough great things about this team. Seriously, just book them!

Absolutely amazing videographer team!

Zach and Faith with Nimbus were absolutely wonderful! From our very first email, I knew that they were going to deliver amazing work but I was completely blown away with the end result. I know I’m biased but our wedding video was truly the most beautiful and unique one I’ve ever seen. They didn’t just showcase our wedding, they captured the very core of our love and relationship in such a magical way - it was truly breathtaking. They were so much fun to work with, kind, prompt, professional, and just a joy to be around. It’s so clear that they are committed to delivering the most top quality footage possible and the caliber of their work when compared to other companies is light years ahead. We especially LOVED the drone footage as well as their focus on the little details of the day. Not to mention their prices are unbeatable! Seriously if you are looking for a videographer who is the opposite of just “standard”, look no further! Zach and Faith will deliver something that is beyond what you could ever imagine! We will cherish our video forever. Thanks so much to this amazing duo!

So happy we got to work with Nimbus!

I went into planning our intimate wedding knowing that I wanted a videographer to share our day with those who wouldn't be able to be with us. I wanted a more cinematic style, because other wedding videos sometimes feel cheesy to me, and Nimbus definitely delivered that! Zack did an incredible job of capturing the day, the big events and the small details that really tell a story of what our wedding day felt like. I would definitely recommend them to anyone getting married!!!

Exceptional work from Zach!

Due to COVID, we needed our wedding filmed as so many of our friends couldn’t attend. Zach was able to provide that story filled with so much emotion. After viewing, our friends continue to say that they feel as if they were there with us. Melts my heart. Thank you, Zach.

Nimbus Videography

The guys at a Nimbus were wonderful! They needed no direction, we just let them do their thing! The final video was stunning! We could not have been happier with the final results. They were very friendly and seemed like they enjoyed themselves. I would highly recommend them. They captured incredible outdoor shots and edited everything beautifully.

Nimbus was INCREDIBLE to work with!!

Zach was unbelievably professional, helpful, and easy to work with. Hardly noticed he was there yet somehow he turned around a short video and a longer video plus ceremony within ONE week of our wedding. He was so fast and his work was stunning- friends and family all couldn’t believe how his video did such a good job telling the story and capturing the feeling of our day! We still watch our videos constantly :) wholeheartedly recommend Nimbus Weddings / Nimbus Independent for any videos you need!!!

Video from Nimbus is a must!

We would 1000% recommend Nimbus Independent for all of your wedding video needs. They were professional, on time, organized, super cool, subtle in the way the captured shots and guests (not invasive or noticeable at all), and best of all - they captured so many of the special moments and magic of our wedding. We didn't ever have to worry, or even think about video - they handled everything and in the end we had a beautiful wedding video that exceeded our expectations in every way possible. The production value and filming is incredible. We were not sure if we "needed" video from our wedding, and in hind sight I am so glad we decided to do it. It is such a great thing to have to share with my 96 year old grandmother who was unable to attend, and other relatives who couldn't make it. And the days goes by too fast - it's so cool to be able to watch it again, and it'll be something we'll look at for many years to come!

Nimbus was exceptional

Nimbus was exceptional. We didn't give them much creative direction, yet they really captured the feeling of us as a couple, and our wedding day. One thing that was great is that they were there capturing every big and little moment of the day... but they didn't ask many questions and I never had to address them! That's the best on your wedding day. To just have everyone doing what they're there to do, and you don't need to step in and give direction. The guys are professional yet laid back... also crucial on the wedding day.

Excellent, professional team with an eye for magical details.

Zach and the team at Nimbus were amazing to work with! They captured the most magical moments of our wedding and allowed my (now) husband and I to relive our special day in the most incredible way. Although many people told us that day would be a blur, we didn't realize how fast it would go by! The work that the folks at Nimbus did for us allows us to enjoy memories from the best day of our lives throughout the rest of our life together. Absolutely recommend these talented folks to any and everyone considering hiring a videographer for their wedding or other events! If you're not sure about the added expense, listen to me when I say that it is TOTALLY worth it! We've watched our video over and over! Thanks, Nimbus!
