Finding the perfect wedding photographer was one of our most important vendors. We wanted someone who would capture the day in its entirety - knowing how to get the formal photos just right while also capturing the special candid moments that we would miss in the day itself. We fell in love with Nicki and Zack’s portfolio. And then the couple themselves! We first met via Zoom and they were exactly what we were looking for. They were professional and answered all our questions while also being fun, laid back, and a couple we knew we wanted to spend time with on our wedding day. The engagement session was a great way to get to know them and to get more comfortable in front of the camera ourselves. They made the session a fun afternoon at the beach and quickly provided us with an amazing, diverse set of photos that we used extensively during wedding planning. For the day itself, they helped us craft the day of schedule and provided advice throughout the day. They were professional, fun, and energetic all day. Never intrusive but always right there when we needed them. We had a beautiful collection of photos the next day and the full set one month after the wedding. These are photos that we’ll have to capture the day forever - from framed wall photos to social media profiles - and the Gowans captured them perfectly. The Gowans were also great to communicate with, from our initial request to post wedding updates. They were always quick to respond and easy to work with. Highly recommend them for your big day!

There is simply no better choice we made, as far as our wedding goes, than hiring The Gowans. Not only are they some of the kindest and best people we have ever met, they are both INSANELY talented. Both our engagement pictures and wedding pictures were FLAWLESS despite some very in-climate weather both days. When you choose your wedding photographers, the first thing most people think about is, “how awkward am I going to be taking these photos?!” But, from the moment we had our first introduction zoom call with Nicki and Zack we knew that those awkward moments would feel natural. I fell in love with their photos on Instagram and then fell in love with them as humans when we met for the first time for our engagement shoot. Nicki and Zack are the BEST! When our original photographer decided to take a step back from photography, we were back to the drawing board and looking for a new photographer. We are so happy that we found Nicki and Zack. We couldn’t have asked for better people to have with us throughout our wedding day.
