I stopped by Nicola Flora on a random Saturday and didn't quite know what to expect. I gave Nicole (owner) my budget and sat down for a 30 minute consultation and decided to use her after she began throwing together impromptu arrangements right there in the shop. I let her know what I wanted for my wedding (it was tropical themed-- burgundy and navy were the main colors) and she completely nailed it. She was hands down the easiest vendor to work with (communication was on point the entire time) and I am still receiving compliments on my flowers weeks after. I am completely astounded by what she could put together within my budget and I feel like she's the best kept secret for florists in the Richmond area. I am now a customer for life-- thank you so much!

She did an excellent job on my wedding flowers and bouquet. Exactly what a wanted and highly recommend her services!

Nicole did a great job with my bouquet and the bridesmaids bouquets. She made them just like I had asked and incorporated all of the flowers I wanted. She also made me two beautiful wreaths that turned out just like the pictures we found online and spoke about.

I left off a point for professionalism because when my mother and I met up with Nicole (our one day in town - only two months before the wedding) she had lost the notes she'd taken on all of our emails and phone calls. She ended up having to go back over everything we'd already talked about. Luckily most of the flowers turned out.

My mother had requested freshia for the corsages and I had requested Zinnias for my groom's boutonniere. We ended up with four VERY ugly corsages that were wilted and very sad looking. The wrist band was not a band at all but instead was made up of white velcro with the metal part in plain sight. When my mom called to complain about this after the wedding - Nicole admitted that she was not present when the corsages were made and she didn't have a chance to look over them. The boutonnieres were okay but they were supposed to all be different and in the end four out of eight of them were zinnias - which died very quickly.

I'm glad that I went with Nicole since she made us beautiful bouquets and wreaths and a fair price - but I wish she could have looked over everything before having them delivered to us.
