Do I start with Photography or Videography?? I do NOT recommend the Nick Peluso Productions photography services at all!!! AVOID at all costs. Everything the was good at first, but Nick's photography skills are not up to par with other vendors. He took alot of pictures during my bridal session, but very few were worth purchasing because of bad lighting or awkward settings. At the wedding, many of the pictures taken were blurry and the essence of the moment was not captured. At the reception, there were hardly any pictures taken of me or my groom. One of my busty bridesmaids was in more than half of the pictures... he even had someone take of picture of him with her! After the wedding, he was impossible to get in touch with and thus I couldn't order pictures at the discounted price he promised. The only consolation was that 14 months after the wedding I was sent all of the pictures that he had taken during the bridal session and wedding day. Next, I do NOT recommend the Nick Peluso Productions videography services at all!!! AVOID at all costs. It has been almost 25 months since my wedding date and I just now received my wedding video today. The videos finally arrived after months and months of emails, calls, texts, faxes, etc with no response from Nick. Originally Nick said that the video should be done by our first anniversary, but that date came and went. When he did reply to emails, it was with empty promises and lies saying that the video was half-way done (that one came back in January 2010). Now that I have the video in hand, I am highly disappointed by the footage. As the bride, I was hidden from view and did not get to hear the instrumentalist I paid for play the prelude music or see my wedding party walk down the aisle. And guess what, the camera man didn't see it either! The opening seen of the video has the crowd standing and me walking down the eye. HOWEVER, I can't even be seen in the video walking down the aisle because he set up the camera in the corner of the church, behind the crowd that was standing. There was no frontal view of me walking down the aisle with my dad. He did not put microphones on either of us, so it is difficult to hear us say our vows, etc at various times. Also with the location of the camera, you can barely see us as we light the unity candle and such. THEN, at the reception, the camera sat on the tri-pod for a big portion of the event without capturing our interaction with our guests. The largest portion of the video shows the dance floor and people dancing. The video is almost 4 hours long and is basically raw footage of our day. At this point I'm grateful to have any portion of the day on video, but I don't understand how it could possibly take 2 years to edit a video that is barely edited. It was just a straight run-through of the event. No highlights, no still pictures worked in. I can't show this video to family or friends... I wouldn't even sit through it and it was my wedding! STAY AWAY from this vendor!!!! In conclusion, this vendor is barely worth any stars at all1
