There aren't a ton of options for gluten free wedding cakes in Portland, so we almost just gave up and went to a standard cake with a small cupcake for me (I'm gluten free, my husband is not), but then we did a tasting at New Cascadia, and got a budget for a three-tiered cake, and the flavor and price were so great that we booked it then and there! They had so many flavor options and the price was better than many of the standard bakeries in town. We did a three tiered cake and a half sheet to feed 130 guests, and we had plenty left over. The cake was beautifully frosted, and we shipped some icing flowers we bought online to the bakery and they placed them on the cake for free (they will do this with fresh flowers as well). The delivered the cake to the venue and it was absolutely beautiful, exactly what we were hoping for, and most of our guests didn't even know it was gluten free.

We got gluten-free cupcakes as an option for our guests outside of the cake we had from another vendor. They were amazing! New Cascadia really does a great job making gluten-free foods taste out-of-this-world amazing. Thank you!

We needed a gluten free cake, and having lived as gluten free for a while, we were very picky. New Cascadia just had the best tasting cakes, hands down. None of the guests believed us when we told them the cake was gf!!!! They were able to take my design idea and create something perfect for us as well. Not a crumb of cake left the reception. It was a hit!
