Nelson was able to put together a film that not only captured 'our story,' but kept us and our guests entertained. The scenes flowed smoothly and he made the pieces fit together. While scripting and filming required time, effort and hard work, the whole process was amusing and rewarding. We are really happy to have worked with such a talent. Thanks Nels!

My wife and I wanted to create a funny wedding video. We had recently seen the Mr. and Mrs. Smith movie and thought that the interview segments were funny. Initially we wanted to film an interview in that same style. We then met Nelson through our wedding videographer and he took our story to another level. We were excited to hear about his ideas and couldn't wait to work with him. Nelson provided timelines, scripts, and his patience, which he needed because we were not professional actors. Furthermore, Nelson would send us drafts and ask for feedback, which made our wedding video a collaborative effort. Nelson was able to use our feedback and weave it into our video. Although it was hardwork waking up early on the weekend, practicing our script, and doing multiple takes to get things right, it was all worth it in the end. We definitely had fun making this short film and enjoyed our time working with Nelson and his production crew. He is very talented and has a creative eye. In closing, the final product was viewed during our wedding and it was a success. Our friends and family cannot stop talking about it to this day. We felt like celebrities. My wife and I have something that we can watch later on in life that will remind us of our fun experience of making an over the top wedding video. We plan to share it again with family and friends at our 25th & 50th Wedding Anniversary.

I've worked with Nelson in the past with my group Legaci. He filmed our first music

video back in 2001. With that video, he won an award and was featured on

a website winning money in the process.

With my wedding coming up I knew I had to have Nelson film a Concept film for my big day.

My bride to be and I wanted to make a short film that included everyone in our bridal party for our

family and friends to enjoy during the night. We were excited to work with

Nelson and his crew. We met a few times brainstorming ideas.

He interviewed our relationship, and us as individules. He takes good notes and always

incoprates good detail in his work. We couldn't wait to see what Nelson and his crew came up

with. During the creative process he would always ask us our input

and how we felt about different storylines. He was very understanding

and wanted to try his best to incorporate our ideas into the film.


He's very professional and with no acting skillz at all, he brought out

the Denzel in me=P. With limited time and over 20 people in our

entourage he managed to work with everyone's schedules and got all the

shots he wanted. It's a surprise in 1 weekend of shooting what he

was able to come up with. It was so much fun working with the whole

bridal party on this concept film. Hardly anyone had acting skillz but

Nelson help bring out the best in all of us. Hes so creative behind the

camera and knows exactly what shots he needed and wanted for the film.

In the process of making this whole film I seen how much hard

work/dedication he puts in with something he truly loves and has a

passion for.


Showing the film on our wedding day was the highlight of the

night. He had the whole ballroom laughing and smiling. At the end of the film,

all our guest were cheering! Everyone in the room wanted to know who filmed it.

Everyone was asking for his business card! Till this day I have family

and friends from the wedding asking for his contact information. Nelson

is the first person I would recommend for any event. So if your

looking for someone to capture your wedding, event or you want a concept

film, Nelson is for sure the person you want. Patient, experienced, great

behind the camera, hard working, creative and till this day I love all

the work he's done.

In fall08, my wife and I had the distinct pleasure of working with Nelson. From brainstorming to filming, he was incredibly committed to making sure our video would turn out great. And it did. Everything he did, he did it for us. Hopefully you'll get married once in your life, so why not make the reception an event everyone will remember?
