Nellie is simply the best! Not only is she an amazing photographer but she also has a way with people that is simply amazing! She knows how to make folks feel comfortable and seen, while also upholding a schedule and boundaries! We had a minor emergency the day of our wedding and Nellie and her second shooter (Kristen) handled it with grace and poise. Thank you Nellie!

Nellie was incredible to work with from start to finish. Not only is she an incredibly talented photographer but she is also very kind, personable and lovely to talk to. My husband and I really got to know Nellie upfront during our engagement photo session. She made us feel very comfortable in front of the camera. What we thought may have been awkward poses came through the pictures as completely natural and we loved how the photoshoot came out. We walked away from the session feeling very confident that we picked the right photographer for our wedding. On the morning of our wedding, Nellie was a true force in making sure the timeline went as smoothly as possible even if there were hiccups that caused some delays leading up to the ceremony. Thanks to her, the ceremony started on time! We constantly received compliments about Nellie during the wedding and in the days after We fully trusted Nellie 100% and she did an exceptional job on the big day. Every photo she took was stunning and we cannot stop looking at them all. Lastly, Nellie was also very easy to get in contact with throughout the entire process. We worked with Nellie for our engagement shoot and our wedding. She was recommended to us, and I am so happy we followed through with that recommendation. My now husband and I can be a bit awkward in photos but Nellie has a very calm and relaxing way about her that puts you at ease. She is respectful, professional and talented. Our wedding day was VERY long, but Nellie and her partner were able to capture incredible shots, and stayed on point for the entire event. We absolutely love our photos and have received so many compliments from family and guests. At this point I cannot imagine having worked with anyone else.

Nellie is PHENOMENAL!! I searched for DAYS on the Knot looking for the perfect photographer to capture our special day and didn't really find much for our budget and style. It wasn't until I got a few absolutely raving recommendations from other Philly friends that I found Nellie!

My (now husband) and I aren't always the most comfortable behind the camera and weren't sure if we'd actually have fun doing an engagement shoot. It was under 20 degrees in January and we had the time of our lives with Nellie! Nellie isn't super pose-oriented and that really allows you to be in the moment with your partner, which makes for the most beautiful photos!

Jumping ahead to the wedding day, Nellie once again far exceeded all expectations. She did not miss a single shot or moment that we mentioned was important to us, was on time, well prepared, and as always, so kind! Her second shooter Lauren also did an exceptional job, and was so funny and friendly! Nellie was very flexible with us as well. The morning of our wedding day, I told her I wasn't sure I still wanted to do our late night sparkler photos with the bridal party. She checked in with us at the reception and we decided to skip them since everyone was busy having a blast! But the best part- after our bridesmaid photos were wrapped up before the ceremony, I mentioned how it probably would have been super cute to do a first look with my dad. She made it happen, with about 2 minutes notice! That is one of the most treasured memories I have from my wedding day and it would have never happened without Nellie.

We are beyond impressed with her professionalism, the quality of her work, and the prompt turn around time. We count ourselves SO lucky that we got to work with Nellie and highly recommend her to anyone looking for spectacular wedding photos!

In rearranging every last thing and switching all of our vendors to downsize our wedding dramatically during COVID, Nellie was the best decision we made. Our original photographer could no longer make our new, intimate wedding date, and Nellie was incredibly gracious and kind in accommodating us even though we asked only a few months before. On the day she was such a calming presence and captured the most gorgeous photos, even with a limited venue to work with. None of our other vendors were anywhere near as kind, accommodating, and personal as Nellie in all our communications. Don't think about it, just book her. :)

Hiring Nellie was the best decision we made for our wedding. From our initial meeting together I just knew she would be the perfect photographer for us. She is so easy going and such a kind person. She made us feel so comfortable in front of the camera. We truly felt we could be ourselves.

I booked Nellie for our October 2019 wedding at the Olde Bar in Philadelphia. Nellie was responsive from day one and so helpful with any questions I had. The day of the wedding she arrived on time and was so easy going and relaxed (no matter how overwhelmed I felt!). Our full wedding album arrived promptly and was super easy to view online. We loved all the images, but here are a few of our favorites. If you book Nellie for your big day, you won't regret it! :)

Hiring Nellie as our wedding photographer was definitely one of the best decisions we made during our planning process. She is incredibly sweet and easygoing, and you can tell just how much she loves what she does. Her calm energy made us at ease during our most intimate moments, where we felt that we could really be ourselves with her.

The photos themselves blew us away. I'm pretty sure I've looked at them everyday since she delivered them to us because they are just so beautiful. She captured the day in such totality, showing so many raw emotions that it made me question if we even needed our videographer (booked through a different company). If I had no other footage of our wedding day, Nellie's photos would have been more than enough. She even delivered far more than we were expecting. We are just so incredibly grateful for her and her work, and are thrilled that these are the photos we get to look back on for years to come. Thank you Nellie!!

Nellie is the sweetest, kindest, most talented photographer I know! She made my husband and me feel comfortable from the moment we met her to the time our session ended. She made us laugh, showed us how to pose, and made sure the photos were what we liked and wanted. She was a great communicator and even drove out of her way for our session! Her pictures are stunning, and her turnaround is fast! We will definitely be using her in the future. YOU SHOULD TOO!

After the wedding is all said and done, the only thing you have left to look back on are pictures and videos. Do yourself a favor and hire Nellie as your photographer! She takes time out of your session to really get to know the couple that she's photographing and what type of vision we have in mind, as well as asking where our venue is and what color scheme we will be using. My then fiance and I felt super comfortable with her and she is extremely accommodating and organized. She was even able to take pictures of us with our puppy before our wedding started. If there's one thing you need to do for your wedding, let it be to hire Nellie! You won't regret it!

We were so lucky to have Nellie with us on our wedding journey! From our initial phone call, Nellie made us feel comfortable and excited about our wedding pictures. She was extremely accommodating and very easy to work with. We particularly appreciated how organized and responsive Nellie was from start to finish. The second photographer she brought with her was also wonderful! We were very thankful for Nellie’s professionalism, warmth and talent.

Working with Nellie was by far one of my favorite parts of the entire wedding experience. Not only was she one of the most organized, responsive, and flexible vendors on my team, but was also the calming undercurrent behind a slightly hectic day. As someone who works in the wedding industry (event florist), I can say with certainty that she is among the best in terms of talent and professionalism.

In the months leading up to the wedding, I received a thoughtful and well constructed questionnaire that asked all the right questions. The thoroughness of the questionnaire was impressive, without being overwhelming or difficult to complete. From this, she constructed a perfect timeline for the day, but was still open and amendable to adjustments and tweaks based on our needs without ego and only professional guidance.

When the day of the wedding arrived and the rain never stopped, I worried for a brief moment that our photos were doomed, hair and make up was irreparable, and the day was wasted- until Nellie began working her magic and put all of my worries to rest. Both she and her lovely assistant took charge, collected umbrellas, issued instructions, and kept the day moving, despite the torrential downpour. She was a cool and collected champ, and showed no signs of disturbance over the damp, rainy conditions. Her happy eyes and positive reassurance snapped me right out of stressville- she literally saved the day.

We had to have Nellie as our photographer because of her energy, warmth, and stunning photos- and cannot thank her enough for being a part of the most special day of our lives. Amazing photos to come!!!
