From the first time we talked to Nellie, you could tell how passionate she is about what she does. She made the entire process so easy for us and was incredibly accommodating. We had some last minute requests and unforeseen changes and she made everything so simple and kept everything moving. On our wedding day, she was so encouraging and made the process of photos so natural and easy! Don't get us started on our final photos, because they're truly AMAZING! They transport us right back to our wedding day and they all look like they were just taken. She really knows how to make sure she captures all of the important moments, big and small. Nellie was truly the best vendor the day of our wedding. Leading up to it she guided us through the process and answered any questions we had. She really made us feel like we were her only clients. When our wedding was over I was legitimately sad that it also meant no more Nellie (luckily our friends hired her for their wedding so we will see her again)! She makes you feel so welcome and comfortable during a stressful and crazy day. Nellie was incredible to work with from start to finish. Not only is she an incredibly talented photographer but she is also very kind, personable and lovely to talk to. My husband and I really got to know Nellie upfront during our engagement photo session. She made us feel very comfortable in front of the camera. What we thought may have been awkward poses came through the pictures as completely natural and we loved how the photoshoot came out. We walked away from the session feeling very confident that we picked the right photographer for our wedding. On the morning of our wedding, Nellie was a true force in making sure the timeline went as smoothly as possible even if there were hiccups that caused some delays leading up to the ceremony. We worked with Nellie for our engagement shoot and our wedding. She was recommended to us, and I am so happy we followed through with that recommendation. My now husband and I can be a bit awkward in photos but Nellie has a very calm and relaxing way about her that puts you at ease. She is respectful, professional and talented. Our wedding day was VERY long, but Nellie and her partner were able to capture incredible shots, and stayed on point for the entire event. Nellie is PHENOMENAL!! I searched for DAYS on the Knot looking for the perfect photographer to capture our special day and didn't really find much for our budget and style. It wasn't until I got a few absolutely raving recommendations from other Philly friends that I found Nellie!

My (now husband) and I aren't always the most comfortable behind the camera and weren't sure if we'd actually have fun doing an engagement shoot. It was under 20 degrees in January and we had the time of our lives with Nellie! Nellie isn't super pose-oriented and that really allows you to be in the moment with your partner, which makes for the most beautiful photos!

Jumping ahead to the wedding day, Nellie once again far exceeded all expectations. She did not miss a single shot or moment that we mentioned was important to us, was on time, well prepared, and as always, so kind! Her second shooter Lauren also did an exceptional job, and was so funny and friendly! Nellie was very flexible with us as well. The morning of our wedding day, I told her I wasn't sure I still wanted to do our late night sparkler photos with the bridal party. She checked in with us at the reception and we decided to skip them since everyone was busy having a blast! But the best part- after our bridesmaid photos were wrapped up before the ceremony, I mentioned how it probably would have been super cute to do a first look with my dad. She made it happen, with about 2 minutes notice! That is one of the most treasured memories I have from my wedding day and it would have never happened without Nellie.

We are beyond impressed with her professionalism, the quality of her work, and the prompt turn around time. We count ourselves SO lucky that we got to work with Nellie and highly recommend her to anyone looking for spectacular wedding photos!

In rearranging every last thing and switching all of our vendors to downsize our wedding dramatically during COVID, Nellie was the best decision we made. Our original photographer could no longer make our new, intimate wedding date, and Nellie was incredibly gracious and kind in accommodating us even though we asked only a few months before. On the day she was such a calming presence and captured the most gorgeous photos, even with a limited venue to work with. None of our other vendors were anywhere near as kind, accommodating, and personal as Nellie in all our communications. Don't think about it, just book her. :)
