This venue truly was the best. It is a hidden gem in the middle of the woods. The staff were well organized and provided such great feedback. Cheryl helped us every bit of the way when it came to choosing linens and centerpieces. Cheryl helped things run smoothly and her staff were a great help as well. A great Venue to use!

My daughter's wedding reception at Nathanael Greene Lodge was absolutely beautiful! I can't thank the staff enough for all they did to make it such a perfect day. Due to my daughter's hectic work schedule, I was in charge of the wedding planning...no easy task since I lived out of state. However, after meeting with Cindy, everything seemed to go really smoothly. She is fantastic at communicating ideas and changes and was careful to include both my daughter and me in every communication, which would probably drive most planners crazy. The hall is fairly new and extremely clean and neat, including the restrooms. The large hall is very impressive with huge windows, cathedral ceilings, and a gorgeous fireplace. The price includes the vases, mirrors, water marbles, votive candle holders...everything one might need to make stunning centerpieces. Cindy arranged for us to drop off our decorations two days prior to the event to ensure a stress free rehearsal and wedding day. The staff there did a fantastic job of setting up and decorating the cake and desert table and coordinating the various vendors (bartender, DJ, cake delivery, caterers, beverage delivery). I was able to spend hours constructing centerpieces on-site. This was the most user friendly venue I came across in Cincinnati and couldn't be happier. The clean-up was a breeze...we showed up the next day and took home what we wanted to keep and the rest was taken care of by the staff. Doug was a great help. Cindy is extremely efficient at her job and was just a joy and privilege to work with. She made us feel like family. I would highly recommend NGL for a wedding and reception venue...for the value, for the ease of use, and for the beauty of the building. Another plus...it is about 1-1/2 miles from the Holiday Inn, which was great for all of us out-of-towners.

Literally perfect. The staff at Nathanael Greene made my wedding the best day ever. I went to four weddings last summer (and my husband was in 3 of those, including mine) so we can both honestly say that the NG staff was the most organized staff we dealt with. We never were unsure about what was going on. I worked with Cheryl, who was so patient and handled my hundreds of questions and concerns so well. The venue itself is absolutely beautiful with the giant windows and outdoor ceremony space. I cannot give NG and its staff enough praise, and it was very affordable too!

The staff is super nice! They provided us lot of help! Wish they use some other caterers except Cincinnati Catering because this caterer doesn't bring enough food for all our guests!

The staff of Nathanael Greene Lodge went out of their way to make my wedding reception perfect! They let me do all of my unique ideas, which included, removing their artwork to hang family members' paintings instead in the lobby and behind the cake, and refrigerating and setting up all 14 of our tables' center piece cakes and 18 types of cookies for our cookie table. Not only were they fine with letting us do cakes as centerpieces, Cheryl had the amazing idea for us to assign table captains to cut their table's cake. We loved this idea and turned it into a fun little ice breaker game for the guests to find out who would be the table captain. I especially appreciate that there was always someone to help answer my questions in a timely manner. I live out-of-town which made the emails and phone calls extra important to me. Cheryl always took extensive notes and she never missed a single detail! Whenever we met her in person, she never rushed us and was completely attentive as we tried decorating ideas and got just as excited about them as me. You can tell that Cheryl absolutely loves her job! She treated my wedding as if it was her own daughter's wedding. Cheryl and her staff did an amazing job at setting up all the cake stands, candles, photos, slide show, time capsule, rented pub tables, and simply added touches that made everything come together beautifully. I used to get stuck decorating for all of my friends' weddings and I found it amazing that i didn't have to do a thing to decorate at Nathanael Greene. They took care of everything! If you are looking for a reception venue close to down town Cincinnati, or several of the West Side churches, Nathanael Greene is a no-brainer! Its only about three minutes from the Holiday Inn, plus they have free parking. Nathanael Greene is on beautiful, private property, which made the back patio perfect for our cocktail hour. I liked that they had a backup plan if it rained. Our guests loved Brown Dog Cafe, too!

They did such an amazing job!!!! I never had to worry about a thing. Everyone there was very accommodating to ALL my requests. I had the perfect wedding!
