We decided to have a vineyard wedding at Narcisi because we absolutely love the food and the place is gorgeous. We had a wedding of about 100 guests at the outdoor pavilion. During the months of planning, we stopped in a few times to ask questions and take pictures of things. The General Manager made it very clear that he did not care about our event at all, was very rude and short with us, and was incredibly unhelpful. This made me very nervous about my big day. Upon arriving to set up on the wedding day, my worst fears came true. They had nothing ready for us, and when we were able to begin setting up I had to ask numerous times (over an hour) for items that were supposed to have been provided. My bridal party was still trying to set up and get things from Narcisi as the guests were arriving. My ceremony was perfect so I got over all that, but then the reception happened. The food was incredible as always, but they ran out of wine glasses within 20 minutes and half my guests had to wait about half an hour for more. Some of our guests had brought outside alcohol in their cars and were told that was not permitted. I can totally side with Narcisi on this, they have laws to obey. HOWEVER, nobody informed us that this was going on and instead they waited to inform me (the bride) that they were calling the police and my wedding was being shut down. I began to get upset so my groom went to tell the guys to leave immediately. He got angry and raised his voice, but was not aggressive. Narcisi proceeded to call the police for an "uncontrollable fight" in the parking lot. Four police cars showed up with lights and sirens and it was at that point that I couldnt hold back my tears anymore. I am absolutely humiliated, angry, and very disappointed because we will not be returning to one of our favorite restaurants ever again.
