Janel and Mountain Magnolia were worth every single penny. They gave me so much peace of mind leading up to my wedding day and they were there for every little detail on the day of! Janel thought of everything and I could not possibly have been happier! Mountain Magnolia went above and beyond and we are forever grateful!

It is difficult to find the right words to describe how much we loved working with Janel, Sami, and the Mountain Magnolia team, but they truly helped make our September 2024 wedding at Rist Canyon Inn the day of our dreams. We are still in shock by how smoothly the entire day went, and that is all thanks to our team of incredible coordinators! Janel and Sami held numerous check-in meetings with us throughout our engagement to keep thorough planning notes and ensure we were on the right track. They also provided us with super helpful resources, such as budget trackers, processional tips, and a seating chart software. In the gaps between meetings, Janel fielded our many questions with kindness and positivity. The whole team was always so supportive of whatever we chose, but also knew when to give suggestions or vendor recommendations. Jacob and I are both the eldest siblings and the first ones in our respective families to get married, so these insights were incredibly helpful as we navigated a brand new experience. On the wedding day, Janel truly took care of everything. She managed all vendors; made sure our party members, families, and guests knew where to be and when; set up and broke down the decorations so that we barely had to lift a finger leading up to and after the event (including replenishing a massive cookie table and helping with the best man’s interactive speech); and handled everything else behind the scenes. We heard from multiple folks about how awesome Janel was at her role, and we totally agree! We would recommend Mountain Magnolia to everyone, and will so miss working with Janel and her team!

Mountain Magnolia was the most important vendor we hired for our August 2024 wedding at the Lyons Farmette. Four days before our wedding, the Stone Canyon Fire ignited north of Lyons, prompting the mandatory evacuation of the town and the venue. Within a couple of hours, Janel had secured not one but two (!) great backup venues that were available to host our wedding. She also coordinated with all of our vendors and ensured that they were prepared to relocate to another venue if necessary. While the evacuation order was lifted the day before the wedding and we got married at the Lyons Farmette as planned, I am confident that our relocated wedding would have gone smoothly, been consistent with our original vision, and not added significantly to our overall costs. With that said, we had a wonderful wedding at the Lyons Farmette and Sami did an excellent job coordinating the day-of. Be prepared for the unexpected - hire Mountain Magnolia!

Janel was absolutely the BEST!!! Our wedding day, and whole weekend was perfect, and it would never have been possible without Janel and her team. We had a destination wedding at the YMCA in Estes Park. Janel was helpful throughout the entire year and a half of working with her. She always had prompt replies and always made time for a phone call, video chat, etc. She is such a kind and genuine person. She is the best and worth every penny. She always had a vision, and made everything that we had for decor come together perfectly. I trusted her with every decision, and you should too! The night of our wedding, we decided mid reception that we wanted some drapes lifted up so that everyone could enjoy the mountain views - she called the venues team and orchestrated the entire thing - and the drapes were up within no time. I had no idea any of this was even going on. I honestly was having so much fun dancing that I never really saw her, but throughout the night, she still managed to check on myself and my husband, making sure we had something to drink, had enough food during dinner, etc. She was incredible. She made the entire wedding planning process stress free. I was in an entire different state, and she somehow helped me pull off the most perfect weekend and best weekend of our lives. I will forever be grateful for Janel and her team. I highly recommend her and her staff for your big day. I can't thank her enough. She is simply the best.

Janel and her team are truly gifted at the art of a making a day magical. Their ability to organize information, guide you through the stressful moments of planning and supporting you though every step on the day of is something that every couple should have on their wedding day.
The detail-oriented nature of the planning process, from online seat diagrams to vendor communication, greatly reduced the work load on us as a couple. All of this was complimented with amazing in-person meetings where we were able to ask all of the questions and were always met with kindness and support.
On top of that, there was always a contingency plan for anything that could go wrong, which removed any stress on us during the wedding day about weather.
We can't recommend Janel and her team at Mountain Magnolia enough. They were truly a life saver, went above and beyond and felt like close friends by the end of the wedding.
Plus, our dog really liked her and she was able to make sure we could include our pup in the wedding day.

Honestly, we loved having Janel and her team coordinate our wedding! We couldn't recommend her more! She was organized, great with our guests, great with our vendors, and was attentive to our needs both leading up to and day of the wedding. She is an excellent communicator and made this process easier than we could've imagined.

If you've found Janel, you have hit the jackpot! Janel is hands down the reason our wedding was so spectacular. She went above and beyond every step of the way! She truly did not miss a beat. It was important to us to work with someone who is supportive of the LGBT community and could handle our niche details, and Janel did so much more than that. From day one, she has caused us to feel so stress free and supported. From all of the many small details, to advocating for us with other vendors, to being available 24/7 for last minute changes, to the big details.. She has everything covered. In meetings with other wedding professionals and in meetings with our own wedding party, I often found myself literally looking at and to Janel for answers and she was not only willing, but happy to offer her help when we needed her (which was quite often!).
Janel was our Team Captain on our team and we couldn't have asked for a better leader. We adore her and will recommend her to all of our friends.
