  Best Money Ever Spent!!

  Janel and Mountain Magnolia were worth every single penny. They gave me so much peace of mind leading up to my wedding day and they were there for every little detail on the day of! Janel thought of everything and I could not possibly have been happier! Mountain Magnolia went above and beyond and we are forever grateful!

  Be prepared for the unexpected - hire Mountain Magnolia!

  Mountain Magnolia was the most important vendor we hired for our August 2024 wedding at the Lyons Farmette. Four days before our wedding, the Stone Canyon Fire ignited north of Lyons, prompting the mandatory evacuation of the town and the venue. Within a couple of hours, Janel had secured not one but two (!) great backup venues that were available to host our wedding. She also coordinated with all of our vendors and ensured that they were prepared to relocate to another venue if necessary. While the evacuation order was lifted the day before the wedding and we got married at the Lyons Farmette as planned, I am confident that our relocated wedding would have gone smoothly, been consistent with our original vision, and not added significantly to our overall costs. With that said, we had a wonderful wedding at the Lyons Farmette and Sami did an excellent job coordinating the day-of. Be prepared for the unexpected - hire Mountain Magnolia!

  They are simply the best!!

  Janel was absolutely the BEST!!! Our wedding day, and whole weekend was perfect, and it would never have been possible without Janel and her team. We had a destination wedding at the YMCA in Estes Park. Janel was helpful throughout the entire year and a half of working with her. She always had prompt replies and always made time for a phone call, video chat, etc. She is such a kind and genuine person. She is the best and worth every penny. She always had a vision, and made everything that we had for decor come together perfectly. I trusted her with every decision, and you should too! The night of our wedding, we decided mid reception that we wanted some drapes lifted up so that everyone could enjoy the mountain views - she called the venues team and orchestrated the entire thing - and the drapes were up within no time. I had no idea any of this was even going on. I honestly was having so much fun dancing that I never really saw her, but throughout the night, she still managed to check on myself and my husband, making sure we had something to drink, had enough food during dinner, etc. She was incredible. She made the entire wedding planning process stress free. I was in an entire different state, and she somehow helped me pull off the most perfect weekend and best weekend of our lives. I will forever be grateful for Janel and her team. I highly recommend her and her staff for your big day. I can't thank her enough. She is simply the best.

  Janel and her team are truly gifted at the art of a making a day magical. Their ability to organize information, guide you through the stressful moments of planning and supporting you though every step on the day of is something that every couple should have on their wedding day.
  The detail-oriented nature of the planning process, from online seat diagrams to vendor communication, greatly reduced the work load on us as a couple. All of this was complimented with amazing in-person meetings where we were able to ask all of the questions and were always met with kindness and support.
  On top of that, there was always a contingency plan for anything that could go wrong, which removed any stress on us during the wedding day about weather.
  We can't recommend Janel and her team at Mountain Magnolia enough. They were truly a life saver, went above and beyond and felt like close friends by the end of the wedding.
  Plus, our dog really liked her and she was able to make sure we could include our pup in the wedding day.

  Hire Mountain Magnolia and don't look back!

  Honestly, we loved having Janel and her team coordinate our wedding! We couldn't recommend her more! She was organized, great with our guests, great with our vendors, and was attentive to our needs both leading up to and day of the wedding. She is an excellent communicator and made this process easier than we could've imagined.

  Wonderful Coordinator!!

  Janel is AMAZING at what she does. We used her as our day of coordinator and she exceeded all of our expectations. Janel is extremely organized, detail oriented, and was always quick to answer any questions we had. She goes above and beyond and made our wedding day relaxing and beautiful.

  Janel is Magic

  It was important to us to work with someone who is supportive of the LGBT community and could handle our niche details, and Janel did so much more than that. From day one, she has caused us to feel so stress free and supported. From all of the many small details, to advocating for us with other vendors, to being available 24/7 for last minute changes, to the big details.. She has everything covered. In meetings with other wedding professionals and in meetings with our own wedding party, I often found myself literally looking at and to Janel for answers and she was not only willing, but happy to offer her help when we needed her (which was quite often!).
  Janel was our Team Captain on our team and we couldn't have asked for a better leader. We adore her and will recommend her to all of our friends.

  Hire Janel and Make Your Wedding Planning a Breeze!

  Janel is, in one word, FABULOUS! She is exactly the person you want making the magic happen on your wedding day. Even though Janel was my day-of coordinator, she made herself fully available to me six+ months before the wedding for any questions or concerns. Her communication with my husband and I, our vendors, and everyone else involved was on point. Her responses are always quick and she follows up on everything she says she will. Scheduling meetings with Janel was a breeze through her Calendly link. OH and on my wedding day, it rained (poured), and Janel adapted so that we were still able to have the most beautiful day. I absolutely loved working with Janel and Mountain Magnolia!

She is always one step ahead of you - having thought of details and needs before the wedding party. She knows how to coordinate and deal with varying personalities and vendors. Janet made it all work so our family could enjoy the day and be fully present for the ceremony and being with family and friends. A talented and exceptional business woman. She was a gift to us.

  My husband and I got married at Rist Canyon Inn and Janel was our planner. I can't say enough amazing things about her. From the first meeting I could tell she was organized, knowledgeable, and going to be a great asset to our day. Our day went so smoothly and I credit that to Janel. She coordinated with all of our vendors, knew every detail that we had planned, and executed everything perfectly. She was extremely professional and personable. I will be recommending Janel to anyone I know getting married!

  Steady, Supportive, & Strategic Wedding Planner!

  Being an event planner myself, I didn't initially think I needed a wedding planner, or at least I underestimated the value of a wedding coordinator, particularly in the last month leading up to my wedding. Despite some reluctance of being assigned a third-party wedding planner by our venue, Rist Canyon Inn, for our June 2021 wedding - I couldn't have been happier with the pairing. Janel balanced me out, and I sure appreciated her expertise, directness, attention to detail, timeliness, and organizational approach. Planning, coordinating, and implementing a wedding is so different to the other community events I lead, that I was so grateful to have Janel's insights, patience, and affirmation. When she challenged us, it only improved our experiences and outcomes. When she supported us, it made for ease and enjoyment. She never really took over, she merely steadied and supported us, and dealt with vendors in ways that really made a difference. Her work the day of the wedding particularly made it better, as she was a very engaged fly on the wall. I imagine she did more than we will ever know the day of, and I would highly recommend her and Mountain Magnolia Weddings & Events to anyone.

Her experience, organization, and communication made our day stress-free and exactly what we were hoping it would be. She met with us several times before the wedding, and she provided countless recommendations during the planning phase.   Coordinator of our dreams!

  Janel was our day-of coordinator at Rist Canyon Inn, and I can honestly say-- we felt like the luckiest couple in the world to have her by our side for our wedding! Her organization, attention to detail, and professionalism is second-to-none, and many of our guests asked where we had found her! Through the lead-up to our wedding, she had the foresight to ask all the questions we needed to think about ahead of time; in addition, she created to-the-minute schedules for the day so we knew where everyone was supposed to be and when. She seamlessly communicated with all our vendors to make our vision come to life and spearheaded the set-up and take-down of everything.   Janel was our day-of coordinator at Rist Canyon Inn, and I can honestly say-- we felt like the luckiest couple in the world to have her by our side for our wedding! Her organization, attention to detail, and professionalism is second-to-none, and many of our guests asked where we had found her! Through the lead-up to our wedding, she had the foresight to ask all the questions we needed to think about ahead of time; in addition, she created to-the-minute schedules for the day so we knew where everyone was supposed to be and when. She seamlessly communicated with all our vendors to make our vision come to life and spearheaded the set-up and take-down of everything.
