This venue was amazing. It was everything I wanted. The owners are so sweet and responsive. Definitely recommend!!!

Absolutely stunning and so easy to work with. The venue itself truly doesn’t need much décor—the chandeliers and overall style speak for themselves. The chapel is just as beautiful, and the on-site lodging was a huge plus. We worked with both Megan and Libby throughout the process, and Megan was our venue coordinator on wedding day. She went above and beyond and was incredibly hands-on. I would 1000% recommend them and hiring their in house coordinator to run your wedding day. (we hired externally and wish I just hired them)

Moon Shadow Haven was an absolutely incredible venue and we are so glad we chose to have our wedding here! From the start, we were so impressed with the kindness and ease of communication from them. Jim and Jane we so incredible! From our first meeting with them, we knew this was where we would hold our wedding. Communicating and making payments to them over time was so easy, and everyone at the venue really seemed like they genuinely cared about us! They truly did not just care about getting our business, they wanted to make our wedding weekend as amazing as possible! We chose to book the venue for the entire weekend, which was extremely nice because we had access to the venue from Friday through Sunday, which allowed us plenty of time to get settled in, set everything up, and get everything taken back down the next day. When it came to our wedding weekend, everyone was so kind and helpful! They were consistently communicating with us to make sure they had everything in line for the day. Libby was great and did so much more than we even hoped she would, helping direct the bridal party, coordinating with the photographers/ DJ, and making sure everything was running smoothly! They were also consistently doing work to make sure everything stayed up to snuff. It seemed like they hardly took a break that weekend as they were doing grounds work the night before, cleaning up the venue day of to make sure there weren't any leaves or dirt on the walkways, setting up the chairs before we even realized it, and checking in with the bridal party and vendors to make sure they had everything they needed. They even came by the night before as I was relaxing and chatting with my groomsmen to build a fire for us, which was a small gesture but made us feel like they genuinely just wanted us to enjoy our time! Not to mention the fact that the venue itself is gorgeous, giving us a stunning spot for the ceremony itself as well as the reception and taking photos. If we were doing it again we would 100% go with Moon Shadow Haven, and I highly recommend you consider them for your event! They were incredible and we have 0 regrets or hold ups about Moon Shadow Haven from booking all the way through the wedding day!

This was our perfect venue on our 7/3 Wedding. it exceeded all our excited expectations. From Libby, our coordinator (who is totally worth it and a God-Send), to Mr Jim and Mrs Jane, and Scott…they were all excellent in giving us tremendous service, communication, value, and the most beautiful venue around! We highly recommend it!

My husband and I just got married at Moon Shadow. We could not have been happier with it! The venue is GORGEOUS (we got a lot of compliments). Also, Jim and Jane are great. They were very responsive and transparent. The process was very smooth. We could not recommend them more!

Moon shadow haven is a great place to host your wedding. We had ours in early April of this year and I have to say it was awesome! The venue itself is beautiful and getting married outside by the water and in nature was perfect. They have a chapel in case of weather or if you prefer indoors but we opted for outdoors. The owners are cool, chill, and easy to work with. The staff was also very nice supportive and made all the extra details easier to maintain. My wife rented out the cabins for our wedding party and we all had a blast there the whole weekend. This place was the fourth or fifth place we looked at. And even tho it’s a little bit of a drive to get there it’s well Worth it. My wife and I were very pleased and highly recommend this venue :)

Natural lighting, beautiful sights, country location. The venue is so effortlessly beautiful, hardly any additional decorating is needed. The staff is exceptional, and we had no problems with unsaid expectations or costs. They made my 150+ count wedding feel so intimate. So much open space and beautiful rooms!

Our wedding feels like a dream come true! Jim, Jane, Sonia, Libby, David and the entire Moon Shadow Haven crew went above and beyond for us! At our first meeting, I knew this was the place (the pure beauty of the land is breathtaking)! They didn't treat us like many other wedding venue tours I had been on, we had an instant connection and felt like family! Our original date was 10/10/20, but due to the pandemic was pushed back to 10/30/21. They were so sweet and understanding when we made the decision to move the date. Leading up to the wedding, their communication, helpfulness and willingness to assist with whatever was needed was so appreciated! We stayed the weekend and rented the cabins, had our ceremony by the river and our reception in the lodge. We loved staying on the property to have each side of our family to come together and enjoy the peacefulness - of course, the Moon Shadow Haven crew was there to make us feel welcome! I honestly can't say enough how lucky my husband and I feel to have found this group of people, this venue to have our special day. My family and friends still talk about how amazing these people are and how beautiful the wedding was! THANK YOU SO MUCH! (I can go on and on about the extra special touches and extra things they did for us that was completely unexpected - they just genuinely want their brides and grooms to have the best experience possible and it shows!)

This Venue is so perfect! Jim & Jane are the sweetest & all the staff were so attentive to detail & helped make sure my day was perfect! The chapel & the actual venue are so beautiful alone so adding your touch of decoration really makes the venue a perfect Hill Country wedding venue destination.
