Prior to last weekend's wedding, I didn't know Shelby nor her team. They are MIchigan based but willing to travel. The ladies came to Chicago for one of my clients' weddings. I LOVED working with this team. They are supportive, kind, professional, creative, and excited. It's my pleasure to recommend vendors who have the client's best interest in mind, are professional, remain kind and stress free on the event day, and have a similar budget / aesthetic to the client. Shelby is A DREAM. She photographed our wedding, along with our bridal shower with a mini engagement session afterward. Shelby takes the most beautiful photos, and while she's taking them nothing feels forced, awkward, or overly posed. And the result is having your happiest moments captured forever. After getting to know her through the wedding planning process and as our wedding photographer, I am now looking for any excuse to book a session with her. Her pictures are GORGEOUS and she is incredible. She made my husband and I feel so comfortable in front of the camera, she is the best hype woman ever, and she is willing to do whatever it takes to get the shot. I was so impressed with her knowledge of photo spots in Ann Arbor (engagement session) and Detroit (wedding). On both occasions, she helped us select locations that gave us such a wide variety of pictures. Any time I reached out to her with help or questions, she responded quickly and with so much kindness and genuine care. She sent our wedding previews less than 24 hours after our wedding, plus shared tons of phone pictures and videos from behind the scenes. Shelby did our photo booth for us and it was an awesome experience! It was a hit with the guests. She was super on top of everything and very organized. I loved how all the pictures turned out. Would definitely used her again for any future events.
